Stop here for lunch , take in the views , relax This does get very busy in the summer season, but it is still worth a stop in the winter Food is reasonably priced and they have an interesting range of food

As always my reveiw will be fair and factual. and hopefully easy to read. Location: 9/10 It is situated at the end of a windy narrow road that stretches for a few miles in a quiet location about 6 miles from Balmaha. the road is narrow so take care especially in poor weather. It sits right next to part of...

I had been wanting to stay here for a while and finally had an overnight stay on the 10th December. It was definitely worth the wait! The staff are very friendly and attentive and the hotel itself was warming, cosy and spotless throughout. We had a loch view room which was also lovely - good sized with a comfortable bed,...

Rowardennan is very special and so accessible by car from north and west Glasgow. Unspoiled, natural beauty. Food in the hotel was spot on for our group of 3 sixty somethings and an even older fourth person. A great day out from Glasgow and reasonably accessible to people with restricted mobility. That's Loch Lomondside just in case not clear.

We stayed here for one night on 3rd December. On the quieter side of Loch Lomond. The small hotel is family run. The room was small but great value for money and a lovely comfortable king size bed. It is right on the loch so a beautiful setting. It is very remote which adds to its charm. We ate here,...

My wife and I made an overnight stay at the Rowardennan Hotel, our room was clean with ample space, the thing that let it down was the mould in the bedroom and bathroom, also paint peeling from the ceiling. The evening meal was good but the staff not very flexible other than what was exactly on the menu, i.e my...

One night stay whilst working in the area. Nice room, friendly staff and decent food. Dinner in the pub/restaurant was nice and there was plenty of it. Breakfast was nice but as per some other comments it was a wee bit cold (didn't stop me eating it though). Keep an eye out and there are some good prices via the...
