Lovely looking traditional house, easy to find. Welcoming reception and inviting communal areas. Ground floor twin room, very nicely decorated, with views of the garden, could have done with some new pillows though as ours were rather thin and hard. Breakfast was ok.

Staying at Mansewood was a really pleasant experience. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the room we had was comfortable, quiet and clean. The house has been lovingly restored and all public areas were good to be in. We had evening meals which were tasty and with sufficient choice, and we enjoyed them. It was possible to do...

Definitely one of the comfiest beds I have ever stayed in! The owner was friendly and made us feel at home. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with everything you need. Great location, particularly if you enjoy hillwalking. 2 munros in reach a few minutes away. Breakfast was also fantastic. Will hopefully stay again sometime.

..and we certainly did on leaving this place. Don’t worry; I won’t make this a long story. At the beginning of our journey to Lochearnhead I called Alan to say we’re on our way and checked all the booked details were in order. They were. On arrival, five hours later, we saw the beautiful building. We rang the door bell…...

We cannot recall your visit with us and by the sound of it we were the lucky ones. It would appear from both reviews posted by you and your wife Saramoshea you were out to have a laugh at the expense of owners that try to do the upmost to make a pleasant stay for guests. I do hope other...

The house and location of this B and B are great. The house had been tastefully decorated and the room was fine, although - as some other contributors have noted - the bed was a normal double, whereas at every other B and B we stayed at the beds were larger. The breakfast was good, although you have to eat...

The beds, pillows and linen at Mansewood house would be the best we've encountered on our holiday in the UK so far. The house itself is big and old and has a sort of faded glory about it but its comfortable. I loved the fact that we got plunger coffee, real tea, butter in a butter dish and jam in...

We spent 5 nights here, a great welcome a pleasant bathroom and all very clean. A very comfortable and warm sitting room. The most lovely dinners using really fresh ingredients. We had to leave early on several mornings and a continental breakfast was left in the dining room for us which we thought was an added bonus. Our hosts were...

Stayed here as a party of 3 on a fishing trip. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us, including an additional bed in the room as they were fully booked. I'd happily stay again, the breakfast was good, the evening meal options looked good as well, although we didn't try them
