We had a great meal here, the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Allowed our dogs in and offered them water. Would recommend the restaurant. We will hopefully get a chance to stay in the future

My girlfriends and I stayed at the KILLIN Hotel which is set in the most stunning location . As there were four of us we had to stay in the Annex Room beside the hotel , the room was very cramped with one double bed and two made up bed settee's , the mattresses on all the beds were wafer...

Let's be positive, this hotel is in a great location, great for walking, fishing, and the outdoors. The hotel is in the process of refurbishment; you may get a bed with a soft or modern mattress (we've had both). A bright spot is staff member called Luke, who remembers our name and gives great service. If everyone was like him...

Recent stay for four nights DDB In an annex. Fantastic location, excellent value for money, lovely food, well equipped room, very friendly and helpful staff. And nothing was to much trouble for the general manager Christopher who was ever present and always willing to help. Look forward to a return visit. Evans Preston

The Killen is an old fashioned hotel in an amazing location. Our first room (35) was extremely small, though warm and spotlessly clean, with a modern updated bathroom. The bed, however, was against a wall which gave us both a sleepless night as I kept bumping elbows and knees and woke my husband climbing in and out of bed. There...

Check in was efficient and friendly. Room 45 was on 1st floor, lots of stairs to carry luggage up. Room was very small, carpet thread bear in areas, view was of a roof, no up/side/down view at all!! Beds were VERY hard and uncomfortable, pillows thin and flimsy, TV signal terrible, furniture fell apart when you opened drawers, bathroom big...

My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night DBB stay here. We had a good deal which was great value for money. We found all the staff extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful both at the Reception Desk and in the Restaurant. The food was superb and portions were large. The room size was adequate for a short break but if...

Room was small, but clean, nice view. Mattress on the bed was either old or cheap, not comfortable, television channels basic, but kept losing the signal. Bathroom in need of updating, door handle very loose, shower cubicle small, no shelf to hold toiletries, the handles on the inside of the shower door were broken, the wash basin was chipped and...

Visited for an overnight on 30th March, and was delighted. Lovely friendly staff, and a beautiful hotel. Slightly old fashioned and quirky, but this is part of the charm to the place. The lift alone is worth seeing! Room was on top floor, with views out the front of the hotel. Spacious, clean and comfortable. WiFi was a bit patchy,...
