Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

First I would like to say I have been to loch Tay a few times and sadly my last after the lodge/cabin we were in wasn’t very clean the flooring needs replaced as all swollen and the dust on the radiators come on months worth of dust not just a week also curtain rails had been screwed back up but holes not filled so every time you close door plaster fell also the door lock was very temperamental loose and struggled to open and lock. Came to relax and had to wash dishes before use and the fact the dust is on these radiators is shocking. When leaving we saw a young girl she was the cleaner. My advice would be get a cleaner rather than paying a young girl penny’s (you only get what you pay for)

Property's Favourite Review
Came here on a mini break with my sister. We stayed in one of the clamping pods which was well equipped with everything we needed including a kettle. Fresh water taps close to pod, nice clean toilet and shower block just a short walk away which was also equipped with washing up and laundry facilities. The site itself is beautiful and has a very peaceful atmosphere even though there were lots of other people in a huge variety of different accommodations. Everywhere on site made it clear that it was dog friendly, especially the lovely boat house restaurant which even provided a menu especially for dogs! Without exception all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to stay here again.

Just returned from a weeks stay in Copper Mine. Absolutely stunning location and nice, well equipped, cosy lodge. Only thing that let it down was the cleanliness......the floor, particularly in the kitchen, was dusty and dirty with dried, stuck on foodstuff around the cooker area and so the first thing I had to do was sweep ànd mop the floors. The cobwebs on the window sills above the door were most impressive, and would be a nice touch if it were Halloween! I would have used the hoover but the Hoover was rammed full of dirt and didn't look like it had been emptied for some time......and the soiled, mouldy tea towel in the washing machine wasn't very pleasant either. That said it was only surface dirt and everything else in the lodge was clean. The shower was powerful and warm but be warned when you switch it on, it sounds like someone is in the bathroom with you yielding a rather noisy chainsaw!!!!!! But all in all we found the lodge great - we had an enjoyable weeks stay and would definitely come back.

we have been before and loved it hence booking again. this time the weather slightly kiboshed our plans to get out and about but that is just how it goes. what i would say is that with check in being 4pm there is not much time to sort any issues before reception shuts at 5pm. we had an issue with the heating and because reception was shut, there was no phone signal and buying the wifi did not initially work we had a bit of a problem. once we managed to get hold of the site warden we were sorted. he got us another heating and could not have been more helpful. The fireworks at new year were fantastic.

Stayed in the dog friendly Coppermine lodge over Xmas 2022. Fantastic lodge, which looks like it has recently been refurbished as interior does not match the photos on Largo Leisure website. Much nicer now. New bathroom, (nice hot shower, which is a little noisy) new sofas, new beds, new carpets, very well equipped kitchen, electric radiators kept us nice and warm. Great views, fantastic site and wonderful staff, we got stuck on the hill on the ice and the grounds man came down and gritted the road and rescued us from sliding backwards into the fence. Staff on Reception also lent us a bread knife from their own kitchen as there wasn’t one in the lodge. Loads to do in the surrounding area, would highly recommend.

Spent two nights in the bothy as a group of 6 and it was great. Plenty of space for everyone, great kitchen facilities, warm and clean on arrival and the hot tub was ready to use straight away. A bag of firewood was provided for the burner. The only thing worth noting is that during heavy snow the driveway to the bothy itself can become impassable for vehicles (through no fault of site management) but there is parking at the main reception building a short walk away.

Our Glamping pod was very clean and had everything we needed for a restful break away. Staff were very helpful when needed but also gave space to relax and chill out. Also had a lovely meal in the Boathouse as part of our stay. Staff were very attentive and responsive. We would definitely go back, thanks.

We stayed in one of the woodland cabins (Glen Lyon). The grounds are lovely and well laid out. Food at the restaurant was very good and the staff were great. The manager was especially helpful and very polite. We went up to the dam which is a few miles away and we were so lucky as the weather / views were amazing. The private hot tub we had was well used. Great for the kids and easily used even when the weather turned. The only downsides we had were that the flooring in our accommodation was tired and needs replacing, the shower temperature was also really unpredictable. The kitchen also needed a bit of a clean when we got in. Overall a positive experience and would go back

Woodland cabin cold on arrival and smelling of damp, no power in cabin then got told its ran by Powercard's, that info would have been helpful and supply us with Powercard's on arrival ... Wifi no response from the info supplied but it's not your problem apparently! Dishes not clean, glasses, cups and plates all had to be washed again. Sink had a very notice able lining of grim.... No Dish towel supplied! Bed mattress has served its time, desperately needs replaced. Once l got the wood burner lit and started to build up the heat the floors became damp and wet, on further inspection l couldn't find any under flooring ventilation, that would explain the dampness and wooden floor warping in areas.... No DVD player as advertised. Listen l've stayed in your Lodges, Pods, Clamping Pods which were satisfactory, but this woodland cabin needs some attention and a cleaner that takes pride in their work... A return visit? only if you let me pitch my tent on the grass, very poor indeed

What a wonderful wee estate. Fabulously laid out. The view of loch Tay was breathtaking. We stayed in a pod, which was more like a tardis. We had ample space to live in for 2 days. We totally loved the whole weekend. Staff at reception were so lovely, very polite and friendly. We will be back.
