Attention to detail is second to none in this fabulous B&B - log fires , homemade scones to welcome you, squishy sofas for relaxing and great beds .Decor is traditional with lots of quirky touches which reflect Cat's clever eye for great design. Breakfast was delicious with fresh produce sourced locally and beautifully presented. We left feeling totally pampered and...

I booked this very last minute and arrived late in the afternoon. I was warmly welcomed and shown to my beautiful room with its huge bathroom. The next morning I had a HUGE Scottish breakfast done however I liked it. This B&B is better than the Savoy - and yes, I have eaten in a private room at the Savoy!!!...

Staying at No. 20 is like staying with old friends ... you instantly feel right at home with Cat. Nothing is too much trouble for Cat but if all you want to do is relax in front of a log fire then grab a good book and get comfortable on couches in front of the log fire of the guest...

Wow - this place has totally changed my opinion of B&B's! Fab hosts, beautiful decor throughout, homemade scones on arrival and the most amazing breakfast. Our 6 year old daughter was equally impressed with her homemade teddy bear pancakes for breakfast. There is so much attention to detail here, even down to the reed diffusers in the room, which smelt...

10/10 hostess, room, beds, pillows, view, location, breakfasts... And thank you for our special favour on our first day (I won't tell everyone, everyone will want it!). Was a great touch to be able to use a microwave & crockery one evening. The guest sitting room looked lovely, as did all the breakfasts we didn't try. We will have to...

It's hard to know which was most impressive, our lovely room, the great view, the wonderful French toast for breakfast or wonderful hosts -- each element was truly superb. We were served coffee and scones when we arrived and who would have guessed how much we'd love that! Our host was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly that we felt instantly...

I recently had cause to stay at the No.20 Boutique. When I booked the accommodation, I wasn't sure what to expect, as I haven't stayed in a B&B for a very long time. The premises are on the edge of town, overlooking the Clyde. By poor luck, the weather at the time of my stay was perfect, which always makes...

Good sized luxuriously fitted out bedroom and beautiful bathroom. Tasteful expensive decor throughout. Delicious included breakfast. Owner was very friendly and helpful, making excellent suggestions for eating out, booking us a table and ordering a taxi. Would definitely book again if in the area

We stayed here for two nights in September and had a marvelous experience. The Heron Room is fancier than any hotel we could have found and the suggestions for local hikes were extremely helpful. You cannot do better than staying here.

Had Curlew room on top floor which was so comfy and cosy with window seat overlooking Clyde and towns on other side which were all lit up at night time. The massive bed was so comfy and cozy and the room quiet and peaceful, bliss! The bathroom was very big and attractive too! This trip was for us to relax...
