A very nice place to have a drink after a long day on the hills. The bar was small and the lady that served us did her best to get the drinks to us. They were twenty of us and she did a good job she was friendly and helpful. A good atmosphere we did not eat there. A selection...

Booked a couple of nights here to use as a base camp for some Munroe bagging. Family run hotel, they're really friendly and allow dogs which is a bonus, even bigger bonus they don't charge for dogs staying. Limited slot with breakfast between 8-9 which isn't ideal if you want an early start. They do meals at night. Great choices...

We stayed at the B&B for five nights. The owners were friendly, welcoming and very helpful in giving us tips on the local area. Especially John at the bar who shared some very useful tips on walking trails. The evening meal was good too.

We stayed here one night and it was a joy. It's a very picturesque building in lovely surroundings. The owner is a really friendly lady and she made us feel at home. It's a family-run place and has no airs and graces - all the better for it. Clean rooms. A great breakfast, and a nice bar. The dinner was...

I stayed here for two days and was dismayed by the lack of hospitality. I was made to feel like an intruder in a private home There were prohibition signs at the entrance, in the hallway and the rooms. The bar man in an empty bar (apart from us) could not be bothered to engage us in any conversation (despite...

Thank you once again for your second review of our property. We are not going to comment further on your untrue statements other than to say that you have gone out of your way to post the most spiteful review you could presumably in retaliation for us replying to your first review on another site. Our stay here was a brief stop to break our journey to the Highlands after arriving on a late flight from Glasgow. Arriving late ( later than advertised check-in hours which they very kindly accommodated) and knowing that we would be tired the owners made our check-in as quick as possible. The room was excellent. We left very early the...

Initial thoughts were negative as staff greeted us and our pet with a list of don'ts re-enforced by note on front door for passing walkers. Things improved and service was good but rooms are a bit dated and décor needs refreshing

I only stopped here for one night to break my journey south, but this is such a nice hotel that I am sure I will return. Rooms are spotlessly clean and equipped to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Comfortable bar serving good, and reasonably priced, meals, including vegetarian. Family run and very welcoming and friendly.

lovely old house in a beautiful area - this made the rooms really interesting and it was like someone's country house so felt really special as it was comfy and homely. Beautiful staircase and large windows. Well stocked bar and a wide menu for a small hotel. Really well cooked meal. It is amazing value for money and the owner...
