Cannot fault this hotel at all. The staff were brilliant and very attentive, the cleanliness of the hotel was 100%, the food was brilliant. This was the first trip we have had since lock down and will certainly be back, love it!!
We broke down a few miles north of Crianlarich when returning from a funeral during lockdown. The hotel was closed to all but essential workers but allowed us to wait for the RAC in the foyer/guest lobby. The staff were pleasant and we were offered hot and cold drinks. We stayed for a considerable period as the RAC were delayed. We were very grateful for the hospitality shown to us. We have only ever stopped at the hotel once before while traveling, we broke our journey with a meal here, it was very good and reasonably priced. We will make a point of stopping again when lockdown is over.
Spent 4 nights DB&B on a myhotelbreak deal. Delighted to find upon checking in that we had been upgraded to a Premium Room. These are a larger size, front facing with a view, and recently refurbished with new king sized bed. The room (203) was excellent in every respect, particularily the ensuite with large walk-in shower.I understand the Standard Rooms have also been refurbished. The Bar is spacious and very comfortable with leather sofas and a wood burning stove. Prices are fairly reasonable, a pint is around £4.20. The Restaurant is also spacious and comfortable, again with an impressive wood burning stove. The menu is the same every day (perhaps due to Covid cirstances) but there is a reasonable choice, reasonable portions, well cooked and presented. Our inclusive deal was very good value, but walk-in customers might find the menu a tad pricey. In summary, this is an excellent cozy hotel in the Scottish Highlands with excellent connections, a relatively short journey by road from the central belt, a stone's throw from Crianlarich station on the West Highland Railway, and on the Citylink Bus route from Glasgow. All the Staff were friendly and helpful. We'll be back!…
Stayed at The Crianlarich Hotel for five nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are excellent, the room was excellent. The food in the restaurant is very good. Plenty of car parking available. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed coming to the area following current Scottish gov travel restrictions which had dramatically changed the feel of the area and hotel. Things were extremely quiet and no social gatherings in the bar etc. Alison greeted us and was very clear with helpful instructions as to check in and payment. The rooms were perfect with a lovely bathroom which I'd love in my house! Breakfast was varied and perfect to cover all anyone wants. Thanks Alison for all your help and I wish you a positive Winter.
