A friendly host, tidy tooms, and excellent breakfast. One of the better B&B's on we've seen here. And that for a mere 65 pounds a night! The only minor flaw were the somewhat cramped douche cabines. Nothing too large of an issue, though.

Been to Scotland a few times but this has been my best stay yet. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The people are very pleasant and helpful let us know how to get to places and how to return. Everything is central. Will definitely return.

Our 1st stay in Scotland started with us staying at the Anchorage Guest house. We could of not got a warmer welcome than we did from Tommy at the Anchorage. The B&B is good value for money and is central to all the amenities. Balloch is a great place to stay to explore this part of Loch Lomond.

This is a comfortable B&B centrally situated in Balloch next to the river and station. Rooms were fine and had everything that was required. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok but eggs poached in the microwave were rubbery!

Arrived here on the off chance of somewhere to stay without booking ahead. The chap who greeted me was friendly enough. Later on in the evening the T.V he had on was way too loud and even though I'd had a few drinks I couldn't sleep till just after 2am. Woken early to the screen again and greeted with a...

We booked to stay here one night to break our journey to Skye. We arrived, there was sufficient parking which is up the side of the guest house opposite the Indian, this isn't clearly signposted but no problem once you have the information. Decent car park so no problem at all. We were greeted by 'Tommy' a lovely gentleman who...

The guest house is in an excellent location, just beside the train station and practically next door to the loch. Our double room was clean, the bed very comfortable and we had a lovely breakfast. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

Have just stayed for 1 night, owner couldn't have been friendlier, the rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, whilst the family room had its own lounge and small kitchen, absolutely fantastic. Excellent cooked breakfast will definitely be back
