Stayed the night before my wedding and we recieved such a warm welcome, nothing was to much trouble, room was spotless, fresh towels and hot water from the shower, on the morning of the wedding it was pouring down and the owner gave us a brand new umbrella so we didn't get wet getting to the car. Worth every penny... More

Our second visit to this spotless and welcoming B&B was as good as the first. Hosts are excellent and again nothing too much trouble. We couln't have asked for more. Once again would have no hesitation recommending this B&B. I think we would have difficulty finding better. Thanks! Kim and Lorraine

I arrived a little late, in lashing rain, but was instantly put at ease and shown a very comfortable room - with a nice view. The entire B&B is spotless, the breakfast excellent and the welcome second to none. If you like cats, you will be in for a treat as there was an additional welcome from some very well... More

Choice of breakfast was amazing, and so much it was difficult to finish it all. The owners were extremely helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Would have no hesitaion in recommending this B&B, in... More

My stay at Station Cottages was one of the highest examples of 'above-and-beyond' the call of duty I've experienced. Firstly, I arrived later than expected, which Maria was incredibly gracious about. She had to dash out to do errands, and was halfway there but turned back to come and greet me (to her own inconvenience). Secondly, I was running late... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 days over the Bank holidays. We stop in Balloch once a year to visit relatives and have tried different accomodation. Overall we both agree that the Station Cottages win first prize for value for money, service and fantastic views. We stayed in a room in the main cottage rather than one of... More

I spent a night in room 2 (carriage 2 as it is named) in early October and was treated to a room with a window that would not shut. The explanation given on check out was that the window frame swelled up when it rained...... which is just great when you have had no sleep due to a howling gale... More
