One night stay only, couldn't ask for better value for money (and on Easter weekend too!) Owner lovely and friendly, room clean and comfortable, nice bathroom and separate entrance for guests. Very close to the train station which is handy if like me you're coming from Glasgow. Very nice cooked breakfast, lovely fellow guests to chat to (I know that...

We stayed here after completing on the 26 mile kilt walk. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant, allowing my husband an early check-in while he had a rest after dropping us off very early to start the walk. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.Breakfast excellent ,Rose was lovely and nothing was a bother to her .Will definitely go back

Lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Rose was very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Helped to make our stay in Balloch very enjoyable. The location of Barton B&B right in the centre next to the railway station could not be better. Eileen & Alex S. Larkhall.

We booked here for two nights last weekend based on price and reviews. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the owner is so lovely and accommodating and the breakfast fantastic. Cannot fault a single thing. The location is a few minutes walk from the lake, restaurants and pubs too.

Had a wonderful stay at the Barton B&B last weekend! Everything was just perfect: warm and friendly welcome, lovely room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom, very kind and helpful owners, excellent Full Scottish Breakfast, great location convenient to all amenities in and around Balloch (walking distance to Loch Lomond shores, Castle park, restaurants, shops, station etc.). Thank you Rosemary...

Rosemary was really friendly, even when we arrived late in the evening. The hotel is situated in the center of the city, on a five minutes walk from the train station. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

This B&B is great. We stayed here as we were at a function close by. Rose was very friendly and helped us settle in. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. I had a cooked breakfast but there were cereals also available. I would stay here again no problem. Another note which was great....

Rose was friendly and welcoming, She ensured our tandem was stored out of harm's way at the back of the house. Ideally located for tourism, beautiful scenery and very close to a selection of good restaurants. Venue was clean and comfortable, breakfast tasty and hearty.

“I had a nice double room on the top floor, ground floor would be better for anyone who doesn't like stairs. My room faced the road but no problem with noise.”
