On a two night deal. This is an old building and a bit worn around the edges. Our room at the back in the main building, was bright, with a large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, good portions with plenty to choose from. The restaurant and bar areas were busy both nights and had a great atmosphere. Outdoor seating in front...

Great wee hotel. We didn't stay the night, but popped in for some dinner. We got given a lovely table in one of their cosy rooms. The atmosphere was great, with candles on all the tables and a big fire burning. The food was lovely and came in a good portion size. I got the balmoral chicken which was different...

Great Location with great views. Rooms OK beds clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean although the shower dripped which was annoying especially at night. The food in the restaurant was good and portions very good. Recommend the Haggis. The full Scottish Breakfast is not for the faint hearted!! It's huge!

Great pub, nice meals, nice room looking out over the carpark and out to the loch, but service a bit hit or miss (e.g. ordered a bottle of wine with dinner which was just left on the table, not opened, not poured ... on both nights we ate there!). This is a lovely wee place, really cosy and mostly welcoming,...

We were staying at the Argyll lodges which is just around the loch from here and it was my husbands birthday. Being so remote I wasn't sure where we could get a nice meal. We came across this little gem! From start to finish was absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much for...

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the staff were very helpful. However we were very disappointed with our double room in the annexe. Two frosted windows so no views. One opened slightly but was a struggle to close. Dirty paintwork, dusty skirting boards, cob webs. Very noisy, not just outside but floorboards of room above. No shelf in bathroom for...

Wanted to take my partner to see a beautiful part of Scotland. She wasn't disappointed when she saw the Village Inn. We had our 2 Pointer dogs so we asked for a room on the ground floor. This was perfect, it was quiet, our dogs were happy (and quiet too)! Ask for this room at the rear of the hotel....

We stayed here for 2 nights; a twin room on the ground floor. That room was compact. The beds were low and I constantly stabbed my toes on the protruding corners. The doors of the wardrobe couldn't be opened fully because of lack of space. However there was a chest of drawers with ample space. The room smelled slightly damp...
