We were booked into this hotel for our 1st anniversary as a little 2 night getaway. We stayed in a suite and it was fantastic. The view from the window over loch long was stunning and the room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. Square sausages and potato scones were particularly great! Staff were incredibly friendly and honest, trying to help wherever they could. As a tip, we made a naive mistake in opening our windows in the evening with the lights on so the midges had a party in the room. Been bitten countless times :') didn't make the same mistake the next night!!

Stayed for four nights we had a loch view , room small but had everything you needed and was clean and comfortable. Staff were all good. Food for mass catering was excellent we weren’t on a coach so dinner was after 7 and it was quiet but you couldn’t get a seat anywhere after dinner .

We arrived at the hotel at 5.30pm with Caledonian Bus Tours. To wait in a long queue and were told our "Meal Sitting" was 6.00pm and breakfast time was 7.00am prompt Had to set the alarm fir 6.30am that was our time every morning (Very relaxing!! holiday) We had been in the road from 10.00am and we had to"dump" our luggage in our room after dragging the cases up a large staircase(no lift anywhere!!) and get straight back for the meal, which wasnt that good all week I must say the staff were lovely and tried to do their best for you especially "Oor wullie" and all the rest of the hospitality staff The bedroom we had was in the main House. Which could be stunning! with some money spent on it The dining room has good modern decor! Our room was large but the bathroom was very small with a tiny sink which when you used it got water all over the floor and you bumped your head on the glass shelf above if you werent careful and the shower was very small with black mould all around the bottom rim I dont think that it had been cleaned since before the beginning of lockdown The main lounge had no ventilation as there were no windows that opened and it was packed at night with no masks as people were having a drink We got home yesterday (23/7/21) and we need a holiday to recover!! We wont be back Its a shame as the situation of the hotel is beautiful!!

Excellent Hotel, The staff very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful view of the Loch. Midges a pain in the evening. Great food fast service. Only down side was very low water pressure from shower and took over 10 minutes to get luke warm. Mentioned at reception but not sure it was seen to. Also no local ales for sale in bar, just 1 from Cornwall.

Just got back from a bus trip and didn’t want to come home. The view is absolutely stunning, the staff who work at the hotel are all so friendly and go up and beyond to help all the visitors and make it a holiday to remember. Food was absolutely lovely with excellent portion sizes! Would definitely recommend this hotel and hopefully I’ll be back soon 😌 Thank you for an amazing getaway!
