We had a wonderful 2 night stay for our honeymoon. Hotel has been recently refurbished and looks beautiful. Our room (4) was incredible with views over the beach and spacious. Food was unbeatable both in quality and great value considering the generous portions! Would especially recommend the localled caught seafood on offer. They have created a lovely heated marquee outside to comply with Covid restrictions and allow you to drink outside in shelter and warmth. We will definitely be back!

Myself and my wife had an enjoyable recent 2 night break at the Kames hotel. Congratulations to the owners who have very well organised systems in place to ensure C19 restrictions were adhered to. We ate at the hotel on both evenings and the food was first class.....served with a fab local ale, as we were able to eat outside in a marquee Excellent breakfast and a big thank you to Andy who brightened each morning with a smile and recommendations on local sites to visit. We may have struggled a little if our stay had been longer as the room was on the small side but this was a minor issue...with such beautiful scenery not much time was spent in the room!

Stunning location with views over to Bute. Warm welcome from staff, great refurbishment recently completed, and excellent locally-sourced food in the relaxed restaurant. Highly recommend. Worth the trip through stunning countryside, even for just one night!

First trip across the Kyles of Bute en route to Islay as Rest and Be Thankful closed. Originally planned to stay overnight at Royal An Lochan but they were closed and referred us here. Large airy room on the front looking out over the West Kyle to Bute - fantastic view and they provided binoculars to watch the heron fishing! A lovely quiet spot with excellent service in these difficult times.

Stayed here for one night. Fantastic location with stunning views. Staff really professional, attentive and friendly. Good covid procedures. Rooms spotless, comfortable. Breakfast tasty and locally sourced. We highly recommend The Kames Hotel. We had a three course meal which was lovely too. Great value. E & J ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
