Loved our stay at Tregortha, Karmen & Gabor are excellent hosts. We had 2 rooms - Loch Riddon & Loch Eck, both were lovely. Beautiful views from the house. Breakfast in the conservatory was excellent. Karmen's homemade bread & homemade jam are delicious, as was the homemade granola, yoghurt & fruit starter. It was wonderful to see Gabor's brilliant artwork.

Four of us stayed just one night on the 18th October 2020 as our first night walking the Cowal Way. The service was so good and friendly we thought that they must be new to the business and it turned out that they have been doing it for three years. We felt as if we were their first customers! The food was great, the rooms were good and their extra care because of the pandemic was excellent. We will probably be back in the area just to have some more time at the Tregortha. First class and great value for money.

MARVELLOUS. Accommodation and hospitality was top class. Breakfast was spot on. I very rarely give 10 out of 10, but it was absolutely faultless. Hosts really could not do enough. How this could ever get less than full Mark's is beyond me.

This was a return visit which should speak volumes. Karmen and Gabor are perfect hosts and we felt very safe with the extra precautions put in place. Lovely traditional Scottish breakfasts, surrounded by Gabor’s amazing artwork and spectacular views over the Kyles of Bute. A beautiful tranquil setting. We always feel we leave as friends and can’t wait to return.

Tighnabruaich is a beautiful place, with the most amazing views. Tregortha is perfectly placed, as a family of 4 we had a very warm welcome, and comfortable stay. We felt safe with the Covid precautions. I particularly enjoyed the granola starter for breakfast, and we appreciated the help and recommendations for getting around and places to visit. Next time we will plan to stay longer as Karmen and Gabor are such great hosts.
