Certificate of Excellence
The Taynuilt Guest House, offering comfortable good value, roadside bed & breakfast accommodation, is ideally situated on the ancient "road to the isles," close to Oban and the ferries to the Inner Hebrides & beyond. This building has for centuries been a staging post for travellers along this route. Nestling at the foot of Ben Cruachan, between Loch Etive & Loch Awe, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and steeped in history, the Taynuilt Guesthouse, with modern facilities and fine hospitality is a perfect choice for your stay on the West Coast of Argyll. We serve a hearty continental breakfast between 8-930am and can offer "breakfast to go" for early starts. We can also prepare packed lunches if given at least 12 hours notice. There are several good eating places within 3-7 miles of the guest house and a good local shop open until 8pm every night. Please note that we do not serve evening meals or have a bar on site.
