First impression of the property we were not sure what to make of the property. The ruin to the side of the house although of relevance to the main property (after we had enquired) appeared neglected; it would of been nice to have had some...More

Thanks for your feedback. As we are a 16th century coaching inn, and a listed building, it is difficult and expensive to do too much to alter the electrics etc in order to suit modern needs. Sorry about the slight delay in opening up in...More

A warm and comfortable place to stay. I had a nice ensuite single room with all the usual tea/coffee making facilities, TV etc, perfect after what was a long day on the bike (secure storage available). The guest house has a large lounge for visitors...More

Had a really nice stay here. Very welcoming, excellent service. No problems with late check in and a substantial breakfast the following morning. Ideal stop off place. Would highly recommend this Guest House

About
Description
The Taynuilt Guest House, offering comfortable good value, roadside bed & breakfast accommodation, is ideally situated on the ancient "road to the isles," close to Oban and the ferries to the Inner Hebrides & More beyond. This building has for centuries been a staging post for travellers along this route. Nestling at the foot of Ben Cruachan, between Loch Etive & Loch Awe, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and steeped in history, the Taynuilt Guesthouse, with modern facilities and fine hospitality is a perfect choice for your stay on the West Coast of Argyll. We serve a hearty continental breakfast between 8-930am and can offer "breakfast to go" for early starts. We can also prepare packed lunches if given at least 12 hours notice. There are several good eating places within 3-7 miles of the guest house and a good local shop open until 8pm every night. Please note that we do not serve evening meals or have a bar on site. Less
