I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Brander Lodge. Great for day trips to the coast and Loch's. The hotel has FANTASTIC beds and showers....this was wonderful after my experiences in Edinburgh and Glasgow, not to mention the showers were a great way to start a sub zero temperature day. The rooms are a good size with plenty od space to...

The hotel has undergone a major refurbishment since I was last there and all I can say is WOW! It is almost unrecognisable from the hotel of old. The bar, bistro and rooms are all looking amazing. The only thing that hasn't changed is the wonderful team that runs it. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome in a relaxed...

I was booked in here for 3 nights on a business trip in September. The hotel had just undergone a huge refit and was amazing, the bar and restaurant were beautifully redesigned with a large wood burner in the centre of the bar piping out loads of warmth. The landlord and all of the staff were extremely friendly and went...

We couldn't have been made more welcome, nor better looked after by Dave and his team. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Went for sunday lunch in the newly refurbished Brander Lodge hotel and bistro. The building has been refurbished to a high standard, with a dining area to the rear that looks out onto the hill behind and is flooded with light from the full length windows. Service was good, and the sunday roast was excellent, with very good quality vegetables...

The Lodge was under major rebuild my booking was canceled due to the works we had to stop at the Falls of Laura in Connell. The short notice was not helpful. On the positive the works look very good and l am sure it will be the place to stay in the future, but it will not be cheap.

It was most unfortunate that your reservation had to be cancelled. Unfortunately the hotel renovations turned out major building structural deterioration issues that had to be addressed and therefore ran into many months of unexpected closure. It is nice that you have the positive outlook on our efforts and the facilities now on offer are certainly up there with the...
