The Corran and its wonderful staff - Special Thanks to Joanne, Martin and Jean, simply the best. The price per person included accommodation as well as the very best Scottish breakfast. We were fortunate enough to stay in the separate cottage. Ask about the availability of the two bedroom cottage with the sun room. The cottage provided us with our...

This is a lovely B&B. We stayed in room 1, and there was adequate space for 2 adults and 2 children. The ensuite was lovely and big, one recommendation would be to install a bath, as the ensuite is huge and would be helpful with bathing children. The room was lovely and clean and all home comforts were provided. Would...

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief 3 day stay. We were in one of the cottages which was spacious ,clean and very comfortable The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and served in a beautiful dining room with stunning views. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I am sure that if we visit...

I am sorry to say we found our one night stay at the Corran disapointing. The issue that disapointed us was that on the day of our arrival, the double room we had booked turned into a twin room. I remarked that we had booked a double a number of weeks ago, to which the member of staff agreed, but...

Stayed here one night to do some hillwalking and get my daughter from an 18th party. Stayed in the ground floor 'Surgery' room. Clean, fresh room. Cotton sheets. Excellent en suite. Excellent breakfast including fresh fruit (all fresh not tinned) salad to start. £65 for both of us.

We stayed at the Corran in Lochgilphead for one night in January. We would happily have stayed for much, much longer! It is a homely, comfortable Guest House which displays many examples of thoughtfulness on the part of the owners. e.g. bottled water, corkscrew and wine glasses in the bedroom, binoculars on the dining room window sill for guests to...

Stayed here two nights based on previous reviews on this site. It lived up to all our expectations and more! Great location - easy walk into town. Homely welcome by Heather. Accommodation was superb and breakfast will keep you going well through lunch-time. Good central spot for touring Kintyre with lots to see. Will definitely return here and recommend it...

Spotlessly clean accommodation and a first class breakfast. I only stayed one night but the welcome I received made me realise just how impersonal hotels have become. Very comfortable bed and a million dollar view to wake up to. This is B&B at its best and I cannot recommend The Corran highly enough.

We needed somewhere as a base for five days of sightseeing in the local area - and couldn't have picked a friendlier, more welcoming place. The children were made to feel right at home, and the breakfasts were fabulous, with views over the garden and the loch.

The owner Heather was so friendly on arrival, showing me around her gorgeous b&b. The upstairs twin room was in all honesty simply outstanding. The views across the loch were stunning and the breakfast in the morning on its own is a definete reason to stay here. Really gorgeous :) x
