I stayed one night in one of the cabins of the hotel. There was an oven inside so it was cosy and warm. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The facilities were alright and the atmosphere in the Bothy Bar was perfect. Would stay again.

I liked this hotel but it wasn't one of the best I stayed at along the West Highland Way. The staff was very friendly. The room I was in, however, was down a hall shared with the kitchen so there was a lot of noise and absolutely no view. The bed was ok but the shower was great. The onsite...

Thanks for taking the time to feed back about our hotel on Trip Advisor and your kind words about our team, food and view. The room you stayed in was our budget single room, which as you say is by the kitchen and has no view. However, it is priced accordingly.

My family went here for a meal on Sunday. It was very welcoming, service was really good and meal was really really nice. We had our dog and he was allowed in. Will go back again next time we are on holiday..

I visited the MacDonald hotel this weekend with my boyfriend for a two night stay in the highlands. The views we woke up to every morning were outstanding and this was only complimented by the service, food and comfortable rooms. The atmosphere in the bar at night is lively, with a pool table and dart board along with happy and...

This place is in serious need of renovation, it was like living in the seventies, with 2016 prices. Room was VERY basic and breakfast? Well the half breakfast wasn't too bad I suppose Disappointed 😞😞😞

This was our last stop on the West Highland Way before reaching Fort Williams. The rooms are an odd lavender color but large and they do have bathtubs which were hard to come by in our travels. My window screen was broken but posed no problems. It definitely was the end of the season for tourists and this place might...

I stayed here on the recent West Highland Way walk - with my 2 sons. They shared a twin room and I had a single room. The rooms were pleasant without being great. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom fantastic - I had such a good bath after days hiking. My room smelt a little - not sure on the...

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. We got married overlooking the Loch and it could not have been more beautiful. The attention to detail was second to none. Helen is extremely creative and this was evident with our little cones of popcorn and chocolate strawberries along with the fizz. Wedding breakfast with owner Mark as master of ceremonies went without...

A hotel with a great view of the loch from the bar. Hotel room a little tired looking but lovely and warm with a great shower, plenty of hot water. Large room plenty of storage if you were staying longer than overnight, which is all we were doing. The mattress on the bed was lumpy though, so I didn't sleep...

36 hours before my parents were supposed to stay at this hotel I cancelled their stay due to two deaths in our family. They reduced the fee from £180 to £90 so I phoned and asked them to wave the full fee as we now had to cover the costs of two funerals the woman (with absolutely no empathy or...
