We had a lovely stay in Kinlochleven. The staff were really nice, food tasted great and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. There are plenty of beautiful sights to see during the day, and in the evening you can enjoy a lovely meal and some drinks while chatting with fellow guests in the bar. Having food allergies, I was very...

I stayed here with my dog, he was made as welcome as I was which was good, I had went to go explore the Great Glen, Glen Coe and the Nevis range, for my purpose it was great 20 mins from fort William, I'm a keen photographer so the scenery was spot on, the view from the seating area outside...

Stayed here for the night while walking the West Highland Way. Rooms are a bit dated (and rather purple) but comfortable. We chose to stay here as having been here previously found the food to be excellent and this was still the case. We enjoyed the meal we chose to eat in the bar very much, and breakfast (cooked to...

I stayed one night in one of the cabins of the hotel. There was an oven inside so it was cosy and warm. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The facilities were alright and the atmosphere in the Bothy Bar was perfect. Would stay again.

I liked this hotel but it wasn't one of the best I stayed at along the West Highland Way. The staff was very friendly. The room I was in, however, was down a hall shared with the kitchen so there was a lot of noise and absolutely no view. The bed was ok but the shower was great. The onsite...

Thanks for taking the time to feed back about our hotel on Trip Advisor and your kind words about our team, food and view. The room you stayed in was our budget single room, which as you say is by the kitchen and has no view. However, it is priced accordingly.

I visited the MacDonald hotel this weekend with my boyfriend for a two night stay in the highlands. The views we woke up to every morning were outstanding and this was only complimented by the service, food and comfortable rooms. The atmosphere in the bar at night is lively, with a pool table and dart board along with happy and...

This was our last stop on the West Highland Way before reaching Fort Williams. The rooms are an odd lavender color but large and they do have bathtubs which were hard to come by in our travels. My window screen was broken but posed no problems. It definitely was the end of the season for tourists and this place might...

I stayed here on the recent West Highland Way walk - with my 2 sons. They shared a twin room and I had a single room. The rooms were pleasant without being great. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom fantastic - I had such a good bath after days hiking. My room smelt a little - not sure on the...
