We stayed here on the way back from a trip to Islay, we booked very last minute during the Easter holiday - what a great place! An amazingly friendly welcome, and a good room - we had a 2 room suite due to small children, their room had twin beds and room for a travel cot too, then a corridor...

Friendly owners and staff at this family run hotel makes for an idiylic break. Set amid the wilderness that is the secret coast of Argyll you couldn't be more removed from a hectic world. Wildlife abounds and the hotels food is locally sourced, much obtained from their own garden. Quiet it may be but every day brings a new experience....

A small totally charming countryside hotel set well off the beaten track. The rooms are comfy and the service is spot on. Good food....I especially recommend duck eggs for breakfast. A pleasant pub makes for a relaxing spot for a single malt or two.

Excellent hospitality that made you feel at home in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We were the only guests on the night we stayed, which is a unique experience, fantastic staff with Madeleine being a star!

We had an excellent lunch here a few months back. There was an impressive choice of dishes on the menu including local seafood. Everything we had was delicious. Staff were really friendly. All in all a lovely place to stop for a meal.

The Kilfinan team were amazing as they supported us in our preparations for Claire & Andy's wedding, as well as on the big day itself. The food was delicious, and sourced locally, the venue delightful and the staff first class. The scenery is beyond beautiful and we were blessed with beautiful weather. With Kilfinan Church next door we enjoyed being...

We booked the hotel for my daughter's wedding on September 5th. Everything was perfect. We had such a good time. Some of our party arrived at the hotel on the Wednesday and were beautifully looked after for their whole stay. We had free rein to decorate the function room in any way we pleased and lots of support so that...

We had a fabulous night away at the Kilfinan Hotel and were just sad that it was for one night only. The fire was burning away in the bar area upon our arrival and we were able to sit an enjoy a drink while having a good chat to Madelon. Our room was just lovely - very big, light and...
