Beautiful setting though a little isolated. Food was wonderful and our hosts were really kind people, very warm, helpful and welcoming. Beware of the vicious dog Macduff, who loves to be petted and hugged. He was adorable. The disabled twin room my daughter and I shared was lovely . My brother's room was also very nice. We had no issues...

When we drove up it was as if an oasis of modern country luxury had been placed in such a welcoming bucolic setting. The Doorman, actually, MacDuff the dog, was very welcoming, and maintained this polite attentiveness throughout our three night visit. The lounge is so comfortable and welcoming that is tempting to stay and read all day, but dont,...

After a long drive down the narrow unclassified road from Taynuilt we arrived at remote Roineabhal which was a delightful hacienda style house with covered verandahs front and back and set below the road beside a stream. We found the driveway a little difficult to find in the rather gloomy weather and the sign wasn’t easy to see. The drive...

We spent two nights there with the family. The situation is very convenient if you travel by car and we had the best sleep in the Highlands. The service is very personnal. Really a great b&b. The house dog is the friend of the kids.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I could not have been made more welcome. From the warm greeting as my host met me on arrival to the friendly wave when I left, I was made to feel very welcome. The tea and the fantastic home made cake served as a welcome, was a nice touch. The...

Wonderful introduction into the Highlands. We were greeted in the afternoon with a light tea. Our hosts Roger and Maria really went ou of their way to make our stay top notch. The breakfast was excellant. I wish I had tried Maria's award winning oatmeal.

This is like a home away from home....only better! We have stayed here three times now and wouldn't consider anywhere else in the area. We receive a wonderful warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for Maria and Roger to make your stay enjoyable. Roineabhal has been beautifully and lovingly furnished and is very comfortable and welcoming. Maria's cooking...

The home is located on spectacular Loch Awe. It is comfort and luxury in a great setting. Maria and Roger have built a beautiful home and are wonderful hosts with lots of local knowledge to share. MacDuff and Murphy were lovely furry tour guides. The breakfast was the best I've ever had. And there was nothing like sitting by the...
