We arrived here by bike after a day trip to Colonsay. The ride to the hotel was glorious on a beautiful summer's evening and apart from the stunning views of Islay, we saw lots of deer. On arriving at the hotel our bikes were taken care of and we were shown to our room. This was large, clean, very well...

Stayed 2 nights here and loved it. Hotel has been upgraded with understated style and top quality fittings - the bathroom had slate flooring and a super shower. Staff so kind and friendly, owners obviously committed to providing really good service and enjoyable experience for guests. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again.

I was in Jura just last week and stayed at the Hotel. Had a fantastic night in the bar with live music. The stand out thing though, randomly, was the showers. Amazingly huge shower heads, great water pressure, and control of water temperature. Was not expecting that at all on such an isolated island. Total luxury. Room and beds were...

Nice hotel in beautiful location. Recently refurbished to decent standard. Breakfast quite average.Expensive for level of quality but I guess you're paying for the location! Definitely worth paying extra for sea view room.

Stopped in for lunch before our tour of Jura Distillery which is right across the street. Not many choices to pick from for lunch, but no worries. Our lunch was very good and was better than most on our last trip. Nice dining room, friendly staff and freshly prepared food. You can't go wrong dinning here.

Lovely hotel on a fantastic island. Drive slowly as we found the cutest baby seal on the road. Staff friendly and hospitable. Were unable to leave at the check-out time as the weather was inclement so were very pleased to spend part of the day in one of the comfortable resident's lounges reading books and playing games. Food wonderful, my...

My husband, young daughter (a wee one at 4.5 months) and I finally took a long planned trip to Scotland last week; so it was our first family trip and trip to Scotland. For me it was a bit stressful traveling with the little one although with the supportive information forwarded from the Jura Hotel owner, Cath I was able...

Stayed at this hotel at the weekend. The weather was fantastic so we spent a lot of the time outside eating, drinking and enjoying the fantastic views. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and this contributed to one of the best nights sleep that I've had in a long while. The bar staff were very knowledgeable about the choice of whisky that...

The Jura Hotel in Craighouse on the Isle of Jura is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Lovely room overlooking the Sound of Jura to the mainland. Food was excellent and all the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
