Travellers' Choice
The Jura Hotel is the perfect spot from which to explore the magical island of Jura, in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. The hotel has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are two comfortable lounges for guests' use; free wifi for hotel residents; a restaurant & lounge bar serving great meals based on local produce and at reasonable prices; and a lively bar, which is the island's only pub.

The hotel is all one could hope for. The rooms, food and service are very good. They have the COVID setup running very well and all the staff were very friendly and willing to give advise about things to do on the island. Differently would stay there again.

Superb accommodation, fantastic service, excellent food, but what sets the Jura Hotel apart is its warm and friendly atmosphere. My partner and I had a wonderful stay of a few days and were blown away by the way we were welcomed and embraced by Andy and his team, who, without exception, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We fell in love with the island and I'm closer to understanding my family history. We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much.

My wife and I recently had lunch at the Jura Hotel. It was our first trip "overseas" since lockdown began in March 2020. We had pre-ordered our lunch and had been sent extensive instructions on what coronavirus control measures we should follow on arrival at the hotel. We were warmly greeted, shown to our table and our lunch was brought out about 10 minutes after we arrived. I had the venison burger which came with coleslaw and hand-cut chips, my wife had the "Nae meat burger" (veggie burger) but she had pre-ordered baked potato instead of the chips . We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It was hot, tasty and looked good on the plate. My wife said hers was probably the best burger she has ever had. Thank you Jura Hotel for a stress free and enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much to all at the Jura Hotel - a bit of an odd time to visit amidst a pandemic but they couldn’t have been better prepared. The hotel itself has a fabulous setting with beautiful views across the bay and the rooms are wonderful - I stayed for two days before a solo trek and then another three on my return. Both beds were soft and comfortable, the rooms were exceptionally clean and homely and I had everything I needed and full confidence that the right protections were in place. Not only is the setting incredible (I’ve massively fallen in love with Jura, and will certainly be returning) but the staff really make this place. I don’t think there is a higher compliment I can pay. They are so welcoming and friendly - particular thanks to Noemi, who was so thoughtful and kind in her conversation and recommendations. You are all wonderful and I can’t wait to return!
