I wish we could have stayed as this hotel has such good reviews and views of the sea and mainland, but we were on a day trip only. However, just to have a drink here was a pleasant experience, as it was spacious, cool and the view from the panoramic windows is gorgeous, especially on as sunny a day as...

What a perfect way to relax and recharge. Nothing was too much for the staff and the weather fortunately was perfect. We were there for a week which with sunny skies could not have been better. The food service and accommodation were brilliant especially for somewhere relatively remote. I don't need any more scallops for at least a week !...

Lovely room with prime view of the bay; warm and friendly hotel management - family run, by the way - and staff. Very relaxing. Excellent food in the restaurant, plentiful breakfast, variety of choice (kippers an option), and good range of beers and whisky in the bar. Right next door to the Jura Distillery - tours daily, well worth a...

We stayed as part of a journey by boat to Mull and loved it..The rooms are really modern and nice and the atmosphere is lovely with good food and good whisky...Jura of course. We had a lovely meal at night and a good Scottish breakfast. Book in advance though as the hotel was full and there are no other hotels...

When my wife and I decided to visit Jura, we were concerned at there only being one hotel. Reviews here helped put our mind to rest and we were not disappointed. We stayed for one night in April. After arriving at Port Askaig on the CalMac ferry, we disembarked and then drove straight onto the Jura ferry. Its a 25...

Jura's only hotel is an absolute favourite of mine for a get away from it all break in one of the loveliest locations in Britain. Overlooking the small isles bay you can watch the sunrise each morning over the sea and mountain backdrop. Great food and good selection of drinks incl the obvious jura whiskey from (literally) across the road...

I treated my wife to a few quiet days away on Jura, and the Jura Hotel proved to be the perfect base. Laid back, but not at the expense of high standards, it is completely relaxing. Great chef, superb wine list and a well-stocked lively bar. Can't recommend it highly enough.

A warm welcome, outstanding food, beautiful room, lovely views, very clean, attention to detail. What more could you ask for? We visited Jura for the first time and will go back: the island has much to offer in terms of culture and wilderness, but the hotel made our stay. You will certainly experience beautiful food which exceeds your expectations and...

I Haven't been writing reviews as of late as nothing has excited me enough to inform you all. But when i find my self reluctantly leaving isle of jura, i really must tell you what a fantastic time we had. Weather wasn't particular nice but i wasn't visiting the island for a tan. More the rough and rugged Scottish wilderness...

Hotel was comfortable and had plenty of seating areas for various holidaymakers comfort. The hotel staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. We loved the food and the puddings were to die for yummy. The hotel is undergoing substantial renovation at the moment but it seems this will only improved an already great place to stay....
