Stayed here for a night in June ( we had stayed last year and liked it so much we wanted to return!). Our room overlooked the beautiful little beach - such a peaceful place. It was very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy a pre dinner drink in the evening sun. Dinner was delicious with great attention to detail. Allison...

Our time at Dunvalanree has always been memorable. We always like to eat there when in the area, for Alyson's food is so, so memorable! Alan, on this particular evening was passing himself as 'Basil Faulty' ! He is warm, welcoming and so funny with a great knowledge of the wines and spirits, as well as great food sourcing expert...

Stayed here with wife and friend when running the MoK half marathon. Excellent hotel with good sized en suite rooms. We had disabled room which was great for my wife who has mobility issues, Dinner was first class, orders taken from the menu and cooked fresh for serving at the table. An unassuming, small licensed hotel in the village of Carradale. Beautiful surroundings with a small bay and beach close by. The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed a good chat about the locale and where we were from.

This hotel is in a fabulous setting at the end of a no through road. The rooms are beautifully decorated and they have pillows you just melt into. The beds are very comfortable although the duvets are quite warm on hot nights as due to the midges you can't open the windows very much. The room I was in had...

Alyson, Alan and the team have excelled again! The beautiful setting in the secluded bay of Port Righ in Carradale, Alyson's fabulous cooking, Alan's quirky sense of humour and efficient and friendly young local staff bring us back year after year. Already looking forward to our visit in 2017..... The Boyd family

The mark of real quality is consistent excellence throughout the year, year in and year out. We have enjoyed regular visits to this boutique hotel and remain impressed that Alan and Alyson the proprietors continue to achieve this remarkable feat with good humour and tireless commitment. Once again, the menus and the food were exceptional and the service impeccable. You...

A wonderful relaxing holiday with a lovely bedroom overlooking the beach. Alyson and Alan were very friendly and welcoming and the food is the best. Great selection on the dinner menu and breakfast is always freshly cooked with freshly squeezed orange juice to begin and fresh eggs from their own hens. A long drive to get there but worth it...

Excellent value in everything. The hosts keep this place spotless and little extras can be found everywhere. Alison's food was lovely, and the rooms had everything we needed. But the view from the room!!!! The hotel is set on Port Righ Bay and it's like having you own piece of heaven right outside the door. A delightful and peaceful stay....
