We stayed for 3 nights in the Garden cottage, would definitely recommend this hideaway for total peace and quiet. You'll get no signal though so be prepared for this! Make sure you fire up the hot tub (you set logs burning at the back) around 4hrs prior to its use..can get too hot so we just took a few buckets...

last minute decision to take an Easter break & chose Arch cottage This is our 2nd visit with a 3rd booked for June. Dog friendly, stunning views and a warm welcome. Great weather for a Scottish easter but the rain on Sunday didn't put us off Lit the wood burner and relaxed with a great book. Lots of great walks...

What a place! Perfect for scenery, wild life, the beach, forest walks, peace and quiet with fantastic accommodation that is fairly priced, well equipped and with kindly hosts. We were here for a 4 night break and immediately felt we could stay here forever. If you enjoy the countryside this is a must do place. There is also a tannery...

We stayed here for Christmas this year which was a wonderful and relaxing way to end 2016. The garden cottage is so cosy and is a haven for wildlife even in these winter months. The hot tub is a fantastic extra. We were battered by Storm Barbara while we were here but still managed to go out walking each day...

This was our third and certainly won't be our last stay in the beautiful garden cottage. The cottage is just perfect for getting away from everything for a while, in fact everything about the place is just perfect. It's furnished well giving it a very cosy and relaxing feeling. The wood burner in the centre of the lounge adds to...

Been in area now for a year , never knew you could stroll through the grounds. Great views , lovely walks One day might even get to look inside the Castle building. People I saw were all friendly, saw a couple of deer, what I think was a red squirrel not confirmed but almost definitely.

Thanks for your review. Yes, no problem for anyone who wants to walk but not stay! There is a car park at the tannery for anyone else who wants to do the same, and a 1 mile way marked trail, with more to follow. You may well have seen a red squirrel. Around 35 years ago they were relatively common...

We've just returned from a few days at the Servant's Quarters. Everything was great - the apartment was really well designed and beautifully decorated. We had everything that we needed and enjoyed the small touches - lots of games, very well stocked kitchen, candles and of course super comfy beds with quality bed linen. We also really enjoyed the riverside...
