Come and stay with us in our home at Glenlivet, in the heart of the Speyside Whisky Trail. The house was built by the the successors of George Smith in the early 60's as their fishing lodge with the meeting room for the Glenlivet Distillery built on the end. There are wonderful views from the house, up the River Avon towards Drumin Castle and we are situated on the edge of the stunning Cairngorm National Park.We are ideally situated, whether you are on the Speyside Whisky Trail, walking The Speyside Way, Cycling, Playing Golf, Fishing, exploring local Scottish Castles or just visiting the Highlands of Scotland. Distilleries such as the Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Aberlour, MacCallan, Glen Grant, Glenfarclas and Cardhu are nearby.

We spent the most wonderful weekend at Glendalloch: The most incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, delicious breakfast (fresh berries, organic yoghurt and delicious bacon and eggs), huge comfy bed and massive bedroom with a view to die for. Can't recommend more highly. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed at Glendalloch House for 3 nights while attending the Speyside Whisky Festival in May 2013. Located in Ballindalloch and very near to Dufftown and the heart of Scotland's Speyside whisky region, this B&B is owned and operated by a charming couple (Toby and Deirdre), who are extremely hospitable and accommodating. Their B&B was clean, spacious and comfortable and our room offered a spectacular bay window view of the River Avon. Toby and Deirdre were very helpful, offering insights regarding the locale and the festival, and their warm and welcoming manner made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Deirdre's hearty breakfasts were the perfect start to each day. If you are planning a trip to Speyside, we can wholeheartedly recommend this B&B.

It took a move to Australia to inspire a whiskey tasting holiday in Scotland (logic in there somewhere), and our visit to stay at Glendalloch was magical from start to finish. As a party of four comprising friends and family, our holiday was a chance to reconnect, and switch off and enjoy the moment. I have to agree with earlier reviews on the hospitality - I left after three, wonderful days feeling part of the family and wanting to return. Deirdre's breakfast offered the perfect kick start to the day ahead, and Toby provided constant entertainment on our various adventures to visit distilleries, a cooperage, see a nesting osprey and a walk up to the Wolf's lair. Beautiful location, breathtaking views and lots of laughter. The perfect antidote to a busy, demanding lifestyle.

We couldn't have asked for a more friendly welcome to the Glenlivet Estate than that provided by Deirdre and Toby. They immediately made us feel at home and provided everything we needed - a lovely room, delicious breakfast and comprehensive advice about the surrounding area. We would have loved to stay longer and would definitely recommend a visit.

during our trip through Scotland, we spent a beautiful time also at Glendalloch house. A charming house, outstanding river view and pure nature. Mrs. Deirdre treated us as like a mom. Thank you, Ales and Barbara.

By chance we found this lovely B&B in a wonderful landscape. Diedre and Toby made us feel like at home and we enjoyed an excellent dinner with vegetables from their own garden. It was by far the best B&B during our 2 weeks of holidays. We wished to stay longer, so make sure you book in advance. B&F&S

Walking the Speyside Way in September, we were caught out by a closed campsite. Deirdre and Toby came to the rescue, picking us up from Glenlivet. We felt very settled in our wonderful room with a beautiful view of the River Avon. Deirdre cooked us a delicious three-course meal with veggies from the garden. Afterwards, we sat by the fire in the lounge. The next day, after an amazing breakfast (perfect scrambled eggs, home-made jam), we were dropped back at the place where we'd been picked up the evening before, ready for the next step on the Speyside Way. It was wonderful to feel so welcome and relaxed when visiting for only one night. The start of our wedding adventure was made so much more special by finding this hidden gem.

It is impossible for me to recommend Glendalloch House too highly. My family and I were absolutely bowled over by Deidre and Toby's hospitality. In all my years of travelling I can't remember ever receiving such a warm welcome. They were incredibly kind and considerate, especially to my five-year-old daughter (Deidre had looked out a soft toy and books for her upon our arrival and she even babysat our daughter while bouncing on their trampoline). I think their secret is that they are genuinely interested in their guests and love meeting new people. I felt like we arrived as guests and left as friends. Added to this, the house has a real sense of history and possesses probably the most perfect view of Glenlivet (I grew up in Glenlivet and had never experienced the spectacular view straight down the A'an valley until I came to Glendalloch). The house has very extensive grounds and access to the river; the location is quite magical. Staying here was the highlight of our recent visit to Glenlivet. We plan to return and I can urge others to stay here too.

My wife has always dreamt of visiting Scotland. In May of 2014, she and I spent 2 weeks traveling the country, staying one or two nights at various locations around the country. Scotland is not only a beautiful country but we found its people to be, without exception, helpful, friendly and courteous. As we traveled, the majority of our accommodations were B&Bs. Overall, I would say our experiences were excellent but the highlight of trip has to be our stay at Glendalloch House with Deirdre and Toby Wingfield Digby. The accommodations were excellent and the food outstanding but what made our stay truly memorable were our hosts. Deirdre and Toby were so warm and considerate that our stay was more like a visit with old friends or family than a stay at a B&B. I highly recommend Glendalloch House.

I cant say enough good things about this B and B. Diedre and Toby were the most fun out of any hosts that I had on my honeymoon. They were so welcoming and I literally felt like I was at home. Both are very knowledgeable and great conversationalists and will keep you entertained by the fire all night if you have the stamina. The location of this B and B is perfect for a stay in Speyside and a great base for whiskey tours. Toby will even drive you around to the distilleries! Also if you like fishing, the river Avon feeds the Spey and is great for fly fishing. I will never forget this B and B and waking up to a view of the Avon river and Drumin Castle. Right on the doorstep of Craigorms National Park, and beside Glelivet this is the place to be.
