We booked the Craiglea for 4 nights as, at the time, they weren't taking deposits just in case any new Covid related restrictions came into force. We thought this was a generous offer by the hosts, given the challenging times for everyone in hospitality. We weren't disappointed, the room was warm, clean and cosy. The breakfast was really generous and all the arrangements to keep everyone safe were reassuring and seamless. We were right in the centre of town, walking distance to all the restaurants and Braemar itself is a great location for exploring this stunning part of Scotland.

2 days in the Cairngorms... Braemar is a perfect base and I had a chance to experience the hospitality of Angela and Dave. All COVID precautions taken and in these unusual times I have had a great stay here. Their breakfast is sourced from the finest local suppliers, the rooms are cosy and comfortable. Frankly you wouldn’t spend much time in a room in this region. The Braemar paths, Mar Lodge estate, Linn of Dee, Balmoral ( didn’t get a chance to meet the Queen) and of course the highland snow route. After 6months of hard and pleasurable work with healthcare this was the perfect break. Thank you so much Oh... And that little treat ... the scone was scrumptious

We decided to stay last minute and booked Craiglea, I can’t recommend this B&B enough it was lovely and clean and they dealt with all all the trials that covid presents very professionally. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts are soo accommodating and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Another fantastic stay at Craiglea with our young family. Good sized parking spaces even for a van. Warm, spacious and immaculate room which included a Queen sized bed, hot shower and ample tea/coffee etc. The breakfasts are excellent quality with food sourced locally and cooked to perfection, they even catered for the kids when they fancied a mini ‘full Scottish breakfast’. Angela and Dave are so knowledgable about the area and although we were up for skiing, they were very attentive to some walkers staying, ensuring they were aware of the daily avalanche risk etc which was very reassuring. The drying room is free to use and an added bonus, was nice to put on dry boots and clothes. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great stay.
