Allan was a fantastic host, the décor in the room was superb, the view from the lough facing bedroom was well worth the extra charge, the breakfast was excellent. Needless to say we will be back again in the Poolewe but only when there is accommodation available at Bruach Ard

Can't find a better place to stay around Poolewe. Great base for exploring NW Scotland or on a NC500 stopover. Easy reach of Skye, the Applecross peninsula and Ullapool. Large and clean room with all creature comforts. Full and excellent cooked breakfast. Very friendly and helpful host who accommodates changes to your itinerary (e.g. an earlier breakfast to catch the...

The motto of the Bruach Ard B&B is 'The finest view of Loch Ewe' and after spending 3 superb days here I cannot disagree. The stunning views of the loch from the guest sitting room are second to none. Having driven along much of the loch's shoreline the view from the house make for a stunning back drop whether relaxing...

Splendid views of the seal loch from this establishment, and more proximate entertainment from the numerous chickens and ducks in the yard. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, the hosts welcoming, and the breakfast more than adequate. Located some distance from evening dining.

This b & b is in simply the finest location. If you book the room at the front you will have the most amazing views. The accommodation is clean and tidy with a lovely lounge that also has amazing views. The owners are very helpful. The area is stunning.

My husband and I stayed for three nights and we were both delighted with his choice of B & B. We agree with so many of the other reviewers about the lovely view from the front bedroom, the huge cooked breakfasts and Alan's helpfulness with walking and dining suggestions. Located 4 miles off the busy road, but surprisingly handy as...

Allan and Delwyn combine as wonderful hosts to provide a B&B of exceptional quality. Our front queen room was beautifully decorated, had fine quality linen, was spacious, had a super ensuite with fantastic water pressure in the shower and a stunning view! The lounge and the breakfast area also have awesome views. Breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity. You...

We spent a great three nights here whilst touring the NW of Scotland and everything was perfect including the weather on this occasion. The bedroom was very comfortable and the guest lounge beautifully decorated with a stunning view over Loch Ewe. The very filling and tasty breakfast kept us going all day; we then ate out in Gairloch two evenings...
