My wife and I spent one night at the Old School B & B near Rhiconich in late September, and we were very glad we did. while the room itself--located in a relatively new annex next to the main building--was rather plain, it was clean and comfortable, and it provided for a good night's sleep. More impressive was the dinner...

Cosy athmospere in an old converted school with very friendly staff. I went for fish and chips which was very good. They also gave us a small bowl of a traditional smoked fish and potato soup we only wanted to try (yummy as well). Had apple crumble with icecream as desert and even though I was already really full I...

Quirky style café from converted schoolhouse. Did not stay but had lunch here on a sunny Indian summer day in October. Sat outside looking at the great views down to the loch and across to the mountains. Ate excellent prawn and crab sandwiches.

We arrived at 3.30pm, you have to go into the restaurant to book in, this was uncomfortable as people were eating. The room we had was larger than the others at £95 for the night. This is what you pay extra for, that & lovely view. Not so good in winter as it gets dark at that time so very...

We stayed here for two nights and the room was very cramped and in need of refurbishment. Having said that, it was adequate and clean but perhaps a little overpriced compared to some of the excellent accommodation we encountered in the highlands. The restaurant on the other hand was really excellent. The menu was varied and the ingredients and cooking...

This was one of a very few eating places open in early October, but it is a little gem. Located in the old village school it retains a number of school room artefacts and is comfortable and well decorated. We only had a snack but the Cullen skink was excellent! The owner who served us was lovely, very welcoming and...

Had Cullen Skink and a fresh crab sandwich with Pinot Grigio. All fabulous. Lovely setting and views. Friendly people. A great little lunch stopover I would heartily recommend after a walk on Oldshoremore beach.

Stopped on impulse for lunch after liking 'the look of the place'. The food was excellent without fail, the atmosphere was homely and it was clearly evident that all the food was indeed "home cooked". Add in a fine beer selection and it's not hard to understand why the restaurant was having to advise other patrons that they were fully...

Stopped here during classic car tour of the Scottish coastline. Lovely set-up at the roadside close to N shore of Loch Inchard and with secure parking. 4 nice bedrooms in a separate building across the schoolyard and very good food in the old schoolroom itself. Friendly and helpful.
