Great beds, no a/c, decor is from the 70s and is well worn. Restaurant was pricey for the location and condition of the hotel. Beers were about a pound overpriced. Center court has been neglected and needs attention. Very very clean. Squeaky floors in the room obviously made of wood. Staff very nice and helpful. just a five minute walk...

Dear Guest, Thank you for telling us about your visit. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and we are grateful for your feedback. I am sorry our grounds maintenance fell behind during your stay as we endeavoured not to disturb night workers who were staying with us at the time. We have now tended to the courtyard. We will...

Stayed on business for one night. Room was clean, although bathroom could do with a bit of TLC. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Best thing for me was very quiet during the night and in the morning. No disturbing noise in the room. Breakfast was adequate although a little cold by the time I got there at 8.30. On...

Nice Hotel, Staff seemed under pressure as when we stayed Hotel was very busy, Some Staff had been there from 8am and still there at 8.30pm. Clean rooms, food ok, leisure facilities available but didn't have time to use. Down Side is Bar Prices, a lot of our party made the short walk across to Asda to purchase the drinks...

Wthe restaurant was mobbed and so we were accommodated in a quiet corner of the bar for dinner. We were warned up front that anything requiring any level of cooking would take over 40 minutes because restaurant so busy. We opted for the superfood salad with chicken for me and salmon for my colleague with anti pasti sharing platter -...

Rooms in need of upgrade, rooms pretty basic for price. Good area for shopping at outlets but a bit too far out of town. Ate at hot flame restaurant and highly recommend it did not actually eat at the hotel but we had a few drinks in the bar.

Visited with a friend, we stayed for one night, no breakfast, shared a twin room. Overall it was reasonable, fairly big room, very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, no complaints. My only minor point was that I felt it was pretty expensive for one room for one night, £120. Overall though a reasonable hotel.

Situated on an industrial estate close to an Asda and a dual carriageway, rooms are spacious and clean but dated, there is a sign behind reception offering upgrades to superior rooms for £20 per night extra and one of the benefits is 'contemporary decor' hmmm! Not that the standard room is cheap. There's nothing wrong with this place but there...

As a last minute booking for an over night stay after visiting the Edinburgh fringe it was reasonably priced when booking though hotels.com (their own site wanted nearly £40 more), it's only a 30min drive from Edinburgh, the bed was comfy and it's also very handy for the shopping mall. However our room had its fair share of cobwebs and...
