Came for my partner's birthday. The hotel is unique and lovely, filled with quirky and thoughtful little touches. The food was amazing - so many flavours. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Just a lovely place.

This was our first night away from the children, since they were born, we didn't go far form home, but who needs to when you live on Skye! What a beautiful hotel, I have never been anywhere like it. It is so unusual, there is something to catch your eye at every corner. The room was stunning, with a fabulous...

We stayed here for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. Our room was fine with quirky, vintaged furnishings which are a nice touch but there is nothing polished or refined about these. The bathroom was dated with an old electric shower. Homemade tablet on the pillows was a lovely touch. We had high hopes for dinner given the...

We stayed one night at Glenview. We had come across from Harris that morning. The "restaurant with rooms" is an attractive 110 year building just off the main road and in a relatively remote, i.e. peaceful environment. Our twin bedded room overlooked fields and trees and in the foreground was the hen coup so it's clear that some of the...

We stayed 3 nights here on a walking holiday. Although pricey, the food for breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals was excellent. The only downside is the long wait between courses at dinner (up to 30 minutes). Our room was comfortable, but a TV would have been nice. The owners Kirsty and Simon were both friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here for three nights and loved everything about the place. The owners (Simon and Kirsty) were so welcoming and genuine, adding a personal touch to everything. We ate in the restaurant all three nights and the food was absolutely AMAZING, not just dinner, breakfast was a decadent affair, the jam was so good I was eating it with...

We spent our wedding anniversary on a wet and windy night at this small hotel in the north of Skye. What a find it was. The food was superb with a very good choice of wine from an inexpensive wine list. The hotel is family run and the friendly, helpful service was a treat. You will pay far more at...

We stayed here during a four night stay in Scotland, starting on the Isle of Skye. It was my first visit to Scotland and will definitely not be my last! It was the best 5 days I've had in quite some time, an experience that will take some beating. Our first night was on the Isle of Skye and we...

We have stayed here twice. Simon and Kirsty are wonderful people. Simon is an amazing chef and ask him to make you bag lunches for you day trips around the island. Kirsty will tell you he "loves that job." And then laugh. And then we enjoy the best "bag lunch" we have ever had. Seriously, cannot say enough good things...
