Stopped for lunch at the Bar & Restaurant attached to the Sligachan Hotel. Excellent food in a spacious and appealing ambience. Good engagement by the staff who made us comfortable and ensured that the food is served as per our expectations.
Arrived for 5 days as had only called in for a drink in the past. Room had been updated a few days before our stay and was wonderful. It was so modern, stylish and comfortable. Nothing like the photo's which make the rooms look dated....More

We stayed there last September. I don't recall the exact hours, but they are typical - mid afternoon check in and late morning check out. You can probably check in earlier if the room is ready. If not, there are places at the hotel to hang out before or after, including a nice residents' lounge where you can get drinks or tea/coffee, the public bar, and a large restaurant.
