Lovely quiet stay at Duisdale. Can tell a lot about a place by the way the staff interact with each other. Very respectful and polite to each other which was reflected in the visitor experience. Highly commend.

We had a couple of nights here in February, so shouldn't really complain about the weather, but it was miserable. However, the staff in this lovely (if ageing) hotel more than made up for it. From the minute we arrived until the second we left they couldn't have been more attentive, so full marks to them. Our room was very...

I have not stayed here, but we recently visited as a party of two couples, for an indulgent lunch on a cold, rainy Saturday in Skye. It was the perfect setting for a cosy winter meal, and we couldn't have been more impressed. Staff throughout the afternoon were extremely friendly and efficient, without being overly attentive even although the dining...

This hotel is an absolute gem! We had the set menu dinner which was amazing after a day of hiking. 5 courses of simply perfect food. The hotel rooms are a perfect size with an en-suite shower and bath. The thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. We were greeted by Alistair bags brought to our room. He...

Morag, Alastair, Brian and Neil made our wedding day even more special. Not just our wedding day but the whole lead up to the event, and for our guests who adored them and the beautiful hotel. The food was exquisite, everything we asked for was accommodated with joviality and good grace. We were told repeatedly to treat the hotel as...

Stayed here for one night this week. The room was lovely and got a complimentary upgrade to a four poster garden room. The service throughout was tremendous. Ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent as was the Breakfast. The lounge area was very nicely decorated and all staff were very friendly and polite. Great place to stay if...

We stayed at the Duisdale House Hotel for just one night early in January 2017. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our well appointed room that overlooked the garden. A visit to the lounge for a pre dinner gin and tonic was a very relaxing prelude to the gastronomic delights that lay ahead. We opted for the £55 menu,...

Two night DB&B in late january. Food was expertly executed. I ate, duck egg starter, Mackerel &, tablet arctic roll Smoked haddock risotto, duck breast &, a creme brulee. Breakfast was great, portions were perfect. Even the crockerey was lovely. Staff were polite and attentive rooms were warm and clean. Even with off-season skeleton team running the hotel the high...

Visiting Skye during the winter season meant there was limited availability for food. We visited The Duisdale House Hotel restaurant as it was close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a set menu on which had a great selection to choose from. The restaurant was small, intimate and classic. The food was absolutely fantastic! If we visit...

We stayed just one night and arrived just in time for Dinner, it was the best meal I had on the Isle of Skye. The staff wa slovenly too. If you don't have a chance to stay the night in this lovely hotel, at least stop by for dinner.
