We stayed here for two nights and we found it very comfortable! Warm, cosy, clean and welcoming with gorgeous views, I would certainly recommend staying here. 5 minutes walk from Portree centre, restaurants and shops, Dunborrodale is in an ideal location. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful although maybe a vegetarian alternative would be good regarding the cooked breakfast. Lovely...

This was our third stop on our tour of Scotland, having driven up from Oban. After visiting Tallisker distillery, we arrived here about 4 pm, to be greeted by Robina. She was cheerful, told us the house rules, fill in the breakfast cards before the evening. Our room 1, was clean and tidy, with great views overlooking the harbour. Robina,...

We were booked to stay at this B&B through our tour so didn't know much about it until our arrival. What a delightful surprise! As other reviewers have mentioned, it's in a convenient enough location (close to the center of Portree, ~5-10 mins walk to restaurants/harbor), but still a little tucked away so as to be quiet/secluded feeling. The views...

this B&B was absolutely lovely. the location is terrific for not only walking into town (10mins) for dinner but as a base to see the rest of the Isle. The rooms are really nice - clean and comfortable - and Robina was terrific in meeting the breakfast requirements of one of our party - really really crispy bacon! The views...

I had been in touch with the owner through several emails as I planned the trip. I had asked that the room and the linens & towels be kept fragrance-free due to allergies and her reply had been: "I will do my best not to have any fragrance in the linens and towels." The room was overloaded with fragrances---the linens,...

This is a gorgeous Bed&Breakfast place in a excellent position with a view difficult to find anywhere. Very good bedrooms, very clean and very close to the downtown area. The atmosphere is very sophisticated and proper. Robina, the lady owner, looks after us like members of the family; The breakfast was excellent ! We were very lucky to find this...

During out 10 day drive of the Highlands, Dunborrodale was perhaps the most scenic setting of all our B&Bs. It is situated only a five minute walk from the center of Portree and its shops and restaurants. The hosts were very attentive and friendly.

We were on a tour to Skye so we didn't expect the tour operator found us such a nice lodging. It locates slightly away from city centre, but within 10-min walking distance. Very quiet and clean rooms. A great magnificent view overlooking Portree Bay. The breakfast was nicely served with great setting and surroundings. Wi-Fi signal was not strong though....

We stayed 4 nights at the end of June, in order to explore the island. Great views of bay and surrounding hills from our bedroom window. Comfy bed, quiet room and good sleep quality. We particularly liked the lovely conservatory with sofas and armchairs which we used in the evenings. Very friendly hosts. An excellent cooked breakfast set us up for...

We stayed for 2 nights in September. The house and rooms were well kept and furnished. Great views! Breakfast is served early, but there is so much to do and see, its a great excuse to get up early and get going. Personally, I am an early riser so breakfast from 7:45 to 8:30 was not an issue. However, if...
