We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff were all great, particularly Rachel the American waitress (sadly I didn’t get her name) and the manager. The food was excellent today both dinner and breakfast. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

We were made to feel very welcome from check in to check out. We booked a small double & it was small, but comfortable. Hotel is in a beautiful setting with nice grounds, we ate at the hotel both nights & whilst the food was excellent we felt it was a wee bit overpriced. Which probably sums up our whole experience at this hotel.

We booked this last minute and weren’t disappointed. Every single member of staff in the hotel were very welcoming and very helpful. This is what customer service should be like in all hotels. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a very nice breakfast with a wide choice. We only stayed 2 nights and dined in the hotel restaurant on the second night. The service and food were again excellent. Would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel feels like a very large home full of soft furnishings and lamps, vases, chests etc possibly from the travels of the owners in previous years. It is warm and cosy and in extensive grounds. The staff are very friendly and accommodating however check in/out could have been smoother. The waiting staff however were amazing with no request being too much bother. The food was second to none and major compliments to the chef for the flavours both at breakfast and dinner. We stayed for two nights bed and breakfast with dinner on the first night. We didn't eat in the hotel on our second night as £59 per person for 3 courses was just a stretch too far and is the only menu available. The music in the lounge area was extremely high brow and, had Andreas not agreed to change it on our second night, we could not have spent any time sitting there, as it was awful. This of course is a small thing, but in order to spend time relaxing in the lounge provided, the music had to change. Well done Andreas. Our personal DJ. We would certainly recommend this hotel, if for no other reason, the food which is outstanding......and of course Andreas!
