As soon as lockdown started to ease we booked a four night stay at Duisdale House Hotel and from that initial phone call right throughout our stay there wasn’t an aspect of of service that disappointed us. On arrival we we’re checked in by Lynsey and made to feel very welcome. We dined in the restaurant each night which was under the supervision of Rachel, not a large menu but well cooked and presented, a good wine choice at reasonable price for a well respected supplier of wines. Breakfasts were first class and freshly cooked to order Our room was well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed. The only problem we had was having to leave, but definitely planning another break to explore more of this magical island

Booked hoping for a relaxing haven in beautiful scenery after a hectic few days with family We were not disappointed! Room was excellent and well appointed. My wife reckoned she had the best nights sleep she'd had in ages Food is Scottish with a modern twist and was superb. Service was of particular note. very friendly and professional. Scallop starters followed by superb duck and beef were as good as perfect. Lovely breakfast too. Would strongly recommend..

An outstanding stay due in huge part to the wonderful staff. Great location, beautiful food and excellent service. For a first outing after Covid it was wonderful how well this wedding came together and the staff should be proud of their very professional service. Thank you.

Dear Tankturner Thank you so much for your glowing review of being part of such a special occasion at Duisdale House Hotel. Planning a wedding can be difficult enough without having to throw Covid into the equasion. We are so pleased that you could relax and enjoy the day and felt that we had taken care of every need and with attention to detail of all the little extras that the Bridal couple wished to have. One of the highlights being the flying over of the helicopters to welcome the Bride and Bridegroom back to the hotel after the ceremony. Thank you again for your kind review and we hope to see you soon at Duisdale

Recent stay was fantastic all round - views, staff, dinner, breakfast, cleanliness, comfortable rooms. The staff make this hotel so wonderful, they go above and beyond to make you feel so welcome and relaxed. All were so cheerful, chatty and informative about places to visit. The dinners are beautifully presented and taste delicious as were the breakfasts. We will definitely be back to stay again here soon. Special shout out to Rachel and Neil for your 1st class service.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 2 week trip round Scotland. We had a room with a four poster bed and a view of the sea. The room was clean and comfortable. Our only comments were with the height of the mirrors. I am about 6 foot tall and could just about see my face in the mirror in the bathroom which made shaving a bit of a challenge. My wife, who is about 5 foot couldn’t see in it at all. The mirror in the bedroom was at the opposite end of the scale and we both had to kneel on the floor to see in it.

Dear DerekParsons Thank you so much for your recent review of Duisdale House Hotel. I am very pleased to hear that you found your room clean and comfortable during your stay with us. The Four Poster Sea View Bedrooms have fabulous views over the Sound of Sleat. Thank you so much for your comments about the mirrors we shall certainly look at both of the mirrors and make the necessary adjustments so as other guests wont have the same issue. We hope to see you soon as a returning guest to Duisdale
