Quite disappointed really .. room really lovely and spacious, view we had amazing, you really can relax and enjoy this quiet place. Manager/ owner well I don’t even know how to describe- we felt like we been watched every time when we appeared in bar, not really trying even to bring any kind of conversation, just sitting there.. restaurant, which was recommended in email , don’t take any customers except, own residents- we asked manager before we went there , he politely explain us the way to get there, not even one word about this, and apparently they have been informed about that. Don’t get to exited about continental breakfast, as we got 2 packed lunches put on the table on the front of us with coffee/ tea. Picture attached . If you vegetarian or allergic to nuts , well good luck Really didn’t want to risk and haven’t tried tapas.. We will definitely not coming back, even for this beautiful windows view.

Wow what can I say this hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a peaceful setting overlooking the sea its perfect for an escape from city life but also accessible to visit other locations on skye. As covid restrictions have not eased fully just yet I would recommend pre booking the local pubs in the area and bringing a bottle of champagne to enjoy in the the room after the hotel bar has closed, From some very happy guests in room 22!!

Located by a gorgeous remote part of skye, this place is an absolute gem. Super attentive staff, really comfortable beds, fantastic food (great for vegetarians) and gorgeous views. On a pre breakfast walk I saw a troop of dolphins swimming up the Loch, an unforgettable experience. It's not cheap, but offers real quality. Strongly recommended.

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but it was an excellent stopover during the Covid-19 pandemic. If you want to get away from it all then book this hotel. We had Room 22, which is a lovely big bedroom on its own on the second floor with a huge bathroom just beside it. There are peaceful sea views to the side. We would definitely recommend having an evening meal here too!

My husband and I stayed at the Redwood House Hotel in October 2020 and we were very impressed. The rooms were immaculate and we loved every meal! The staff were brilliant about COVID restrictions and still made you feel warmly welcome in spite of the strange times we are living in. The sea views were incredible and we both felt it to be incredibly relaxing and spoiling. And not forgetting Luna the dog who is an absolute sweetheart! I could have taken her home :)
