We really enjoyed our stay at The Tables, where had a very warm welcome from Stuart and Janet. We were delighted with our room (No 1) which we thought was quite spacious, with lovely views of the bay and the hills beyond. We were impressed with the attention to detail, particularly in relation to sanitising and ensuring good infection control. We particularly enjoyed the excellent home cooked breakfasts, and Janet offered us her own tray bakes at every opportunity, and made us cappuccinos to go with them. Highly recommended.

We can all honestly say this one of the best guest houses we have stayed at (and we have stayed in a lot) We are a group of 6 adults who had 3 rooms all of which were beautifully presented very clean with lovely touches like the Alpacca bedding which was extremely soft and comfortable. Our hosts Janet and Stuart made us all feel very welcome. From arrival to leaving nothing was too much trouble and the cakes/biscuits made daily by Janet were a lovely touch and very welcome to take with us when we were out walking. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and presented. The area in reception where you can help yourself to tea and coffee was an ingenious touch and one that we have not found anywhere else. We cannot rate this guest house enough and if we could give it 6 stars we would. ''Great attention to detail'' and ''Nothing is too much trouble'' were phrases made for our perfect hosts.

We stayed for 3 nights and found it be really homely and friendly. The views are fabulous especially the sunset by the Skye bridge. Good location that provides easy access to all parts of the island. There was a lovely bar next door that provided really good bar meals too.

Stuart and Janet were very understanding when I messed up my dates and managed to fit us in! The room was small but lacked nothing and we were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Nothing was to much trouble and we enjoyed our brief stay very much.

Skye itself was magical. But there is something so much more magical about getting away from the hustle and bustle of Portree and making your way to a beautiful quiet bay with a castle and an adorable B&B nestled right nearby. This is The Tables which far exceeded our expectations. The owners were dedicated to making sure we all had a wonderful time. This included toiletries, fantastic breakfast (some of the best we had!), coffee and tea any time of the day, and a room with plenty of space that was warm and inviting. The bedding was so comfortable and a throw blanket was so soft (bought from their neighbor, the lovely Hebridean Alpaca Company) we actually bought 3 for our relatives as gifts and one for ourselves. In regards to activities: The Dunvegan Castle is very close by. For food, nearby is a restaurant within walking distance, I believe The Old School, which made a fantastic dinner in an old schoolhouse. There is a parking lot with complimentary parking for BNB guests. Driving not too far is a restaurant, the 3 chimneys, with an exceptional tasting menu. We treated ourselves to a meal there for our last night in Skye and were happy we did. Many places we wanted to visit (fairy pools, dinosaur tracks) were farther away and require driving.
