A short distance from the ferry point (1 mile). The restaurant and rooms to the rear have lovely views of the Bay. The food is excellent, although the prices at the bar for a bacardi (£3) and a bottle of coke (£3.20 I would suggest...More
To get to our room we had to go down some stairs, then up another half flight, then down, then up again. Extraordinary layout, and no lift to help those with luggage. Carpets were worn and rooms not that large. We asked to be moved...More
Worst hotel ever visited
A shame to keep it opened
So old, bad smell everywhere
Everything is broken (just look at the carpet)
Beds so bad that you have back pain
Breakfast with moisture
We were very disappointed to see multiple large bus groups at the hotel and the staff did seem to be struggling to cope with the number of guests - surprising oven that such large groups pre book often a year in advance.

Main courses in the restaurant are probably £12 - £20, the bar meals slightly less. These are very reasonable prices for an hotel and the quality is usually excellent - they run a Steak night and we've never been disappointed when we've eaten there. Sunday lunch is usually good too.
Do remember that so much has to be 'imported' on to the island and fuel prices can be higher than on the mainland so what can't be produced on island may cost a little more than you may find elsewhere.
