Bedroom was clean, bright and spacious. Hotel is close to town centre, harbour and restaurants. Restaurant was busy with lots of families. Apparently this is the only child friendly hotel on the island so understandably it is well used by local folk. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing meal this is not the place to dine. Breakfast was...

The hotel has been refurbished and has a modern and clean feel to it. Our bedroom was airy and in good condition with a modern en suite facility. The restaurant served delicious food and the staff were excellent in customer service.

This is such a friendly, welcoming hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable and the new bathrooms are great. Food is very, very good. The breakfasts were delicious and ample, as was the car very. It is terrific value and I'd definitely stay again.

We took 15 kids and 11 adults on a P7 rugby tour to Stornoway and stayed here. On the while the hotel was nice. The rooms were clean and well presented and had all facilities available. Although 3 of our rooms did lose power and had to be relocated which wasn't great but we cracked on. The boys had a...

I stayed here in January for a couple of nights. The hotel is dated and the bedrooms require redecoration and new furniture. The bathrooms have recently been refitted and where lovely. The dining room felt like a school dinner hall, not very intimate at all. Service however was good. Meals were good, not an adventurous menu but fine. Generally the...

Stayed here for a week. The staff were exceptional, the carvery was lovely. The bar well stocked and my room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Right in the heart of town and 3 minutes from the ferry port. Great place.

I don't know how anyone can give this place a good review. It is, without doubt, one of the least enjoyable places I have ever put my head down. Of course it's cheap but that doesn't automatically mean it has to be bad. We booked it for the sole reason that it was the only hotel on the entire island...

I love this hotel. Visit the island frequently on business and this place is consistently good. Good staff. Good rooms. Good restaurant. Good location. Rooms are clean, well maintained and fairly recently done up to a good standard. Wifi works. Restaurant is always busy - always a lot of non resident customers. Carvery is legend. They seem to have a...

Another visit here, off season but you wouldn't know it by the staff levels and service. Room clean and comfortable, staff helpful. Eleven restaurant excellent food as always. A great example of a hotel that was terrible years ago turning round and being consistently excellent

I recently stayed here for the 3rd time (to do with work) and while I, perhaps, wasn't all that complementary in my previous reviews, it's clear to see that management are spending time and money to do this hotel up. My room was pleasant, the bathroom modern with great water pressure in the shower and the staff were incredibly friendly...
