Andrew and Allison are superb hosts. Andrew met our tour group in their car park carrying a tray of whisky drams as a welcome and explained the safety rules of the house in these covid times. Our room was large and quiet, bedding and towels were new and of good quality, the bathroom was immaculate and modern. The room was amply stocked with snacks, cold drinks, toiletries, and even more drams of whisky! A large and succulent cooked breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and we sat at the table in the bay window watching the waterfront while we ate. What a lovely place to linger and what lovely hosts. Thank you both.

What a lovely B & B! The hosts were lovely, the rooms were big and well appointed, and hot breakfast was delicious. It is everything you could want when touring Islay. We stayed here as part of a whisky tour (also amazing) and we were treated so well, including being greeted by a dram when we arrived. The views from the house, built in 1898, were amazing. Bowmore is a lovely town, and the Bowmore House is wonderful.

You and your B&B exceeded expectations and my expectations were high. Many thanks. Rooms were spotless, the bedding and towels were soft, the little extra touches were lovely. I don't think I need to add more.

High class B&B, really well situated near the main village with views over the harbour and across the loch. Private car park. Large rooms, immaculately decorated, first class facilities. Brilliant breakfast. Super hosts who do a first class job of making sure guests enjoy their stay.

After a last minute booking to stay at Bowmore House due to a ferry cancellation, we had a wonderful and relaxing two night stay. Andrew was so friendly and helpful (especially with some tips for the ferry!). We're planning to return to Islay as soon as possible and a stay at Bowmore House will definitely be on the cards!
