We stayed one night on our honeymoon trip around Scotland and wish we had made more time in our itinerary to stay longer! Everything was beautiful and charming! Our room was stunning. The dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious--I'm hoping to recreate the soup I had there in my own kitchen actually. Each member of the staff we... More

A small castle but delightful. Was disappointed with the first room we were given as expected room to have a 4- poster bed as their website suggested that nearly all rooms had them. Room 3 definitely didn't and you wouldn't have been able to get one it it as it was rather small. However we managed to get our room... More

Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will return again I would like to point out to other readers of your review that the deal was through 5pm and their website does say that for a deluxe room(4 poster) there is a small upgrade charge and that the deal is for... We had only one night there as we were on the move every day. We had nice room. We had dinner in the dungeon restaurant. The food was delicious and the wait staff was efficient. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and my friend had the biggest meringue we'd ever seen..It was also tasty. All of the staff... More

A small castle set in charming grounds with mixed woodlands, a lake and lawns. The area is perfect for walking, jogging, bird watching. Rooms are spectacular and all different from each other, most have 4-poster beds and all have interesting decor. Food was really excellent, staff were efficient and helpful. Excellent, fast wifi throughout most (but not all) of the... More

Settled admidst the breath taking Scottish countryside and just outside of Stirling is a lovely retreat! The dining room and library were quite nice and confortable and the bar was fun and the help was delightful. We also enjoyed the dungeon breakfast! Lovely little castle!

Stayed in one of the wooden lodges for 4 nights, really secluded and tranquil place, stunning views from the veranda. Had a few meals in the castle hotel, great value and really nice food. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back

Had a lovely time in the lodges also enjoyed a meal and some drinks in the castle. The views are amazing and brought back memories of my first visit 35 years ago as a child. Plenty to do and many places to visit.
