Very good value high tea. Should also mention that this is available from twelve onwards . Compared to other high tea prices in clyde valley this is definately value for money. Also staff very welcoming and nice garden setting.

We stayed for two nights on a classic britain deal which was a very good price. Well worth it but so glad we had not & would not pay full price. The staff were very helpful & accomodating. The main hotel & bar area is nice & relaxing & we loved the pool area, even yjough the water was a...

Booked via Classic Britain, this two-night BOGOF deal was great value. Staff are the Popinjay's greatest asset - all were welcoming and most helpful. Bedroom furniture was a bit tired but bedroom clean and tidy and bed comfortable. Broken hinge on the wardrobe door was checked by the manager immediately on reporting, and joiner was arriving as we checked out....

Had another fantatic stay at this hotel 19/06/15 for our anniversary and stayed in a club room. This room is beautifully decorated, spacious and very relaxing. We opted for dinner bed & breakfast however we didn't really make a saving by doing this which was a bit disappointing. The hotel and grounds are lovely and staff are always accomodating. We...

From the minute I stepped in the door the staff were humorous, helpful and obliging . I requested a re-furbished room and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the pool, Sauna and whirlpool were great.... Definitely visit again... This was a great Classic Britain deal with breakfast, dinner and wine on arrival

We visited the Popinjay on 20/06/15 in the afternoon and we had an "okay" lunch. We had fish and chips and a beef buritto, the food was pleasant and the service was relatively quick but the lunch was nothing special. The staff were lovely though and the matradee was very friendly and attentive.

Stayed at the hotel for one night on business. In short it's "ok". Upon arriving you pull off a fairly busy road into the car park and enter reception. The first thing I noticed was how dark & dull the area down stairs looked. Anyway, receptionist was polite enough and I checked in to my room which was number 1....

This hotel was fantastic as there was plenty of parking, nice rooms, lovely food and great staff. We used the swimming pool which was big compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The views from the dining room where nice as was our dinner and breakfast. The menu had a good variety of choices and the breakfast was self...
