What a lovely hotel, grounds are amazing. Staff and management are all very welcoming and rooms and food above standards. Can't wait to come back with my boyfriend next year when we're up visiting family.

Just returned from a couple of nights at this hotel. What a brilliant relaxed time we had. Thankyou to the staff for allocating us to the Otterburn room, majestically furnished some people wouldn't like it because it had antique furniture with lots of bits and pieces. We loved it, we felt it was like staying in a friend's country home....

What a little gem this place is hidden at the back of Bigger of the A702 road from Staff so friendly, room and dinner excellent.. if your looking for that nice quiet relaxing experience this is the place!.

Visited on a deal for one night. Allocated the Bannockburn suite which was a room off a room (conference suite) - fortunately no conference in progress! This room is also situated above the bar and after 1 am the barman decided a party with music up full was the way to go! This woke us up. After 15 mins it...

Well what can I say but fantastic thanks to Amy the receptionist she was great the room we had which was the culloden was really nice bed very comfortable and what a super large bath the food was fantastic far to much but of a very high standard the owners should be very happy with their chef being one myself...

My wife and I had an amazing overnight stay in this beautiful castle,couldn't ask for better,we stayed in one of the cabins next to the castle,large bedroom/sitting area with good heating system(toasty),good size bathroom. The hotel is in a rural setting just a few miles from Biggar. It had been extensively renovated but still retains its obvious character and charm. Booked a overnight stay from cut price web site. Arrived at night easy book in,everything organised very professional. Fantastic room ,maybe needs wee bit tlc? Meal at night lovely,breakfast perfect. Staff were very courtiuos. No complaints for the price. Yes would come back no problem

Having been shown around this Hotel and shown rooms as a Wedding Fair was on. I was really impressed with this lovely Country Hotel.
