A repeat of many other posts, but worth repeating. Everything was beautiful, clean, amazing views. And, the most comfortable bed ever! The ride up the mountain was scary/exciting/amazing. Worth the price of admission right there! Our trip was in October 2015, but there isn't an option for that.

Chilhowee Mountain Retreat is absolutely amazing! The room was beyond what we could have imagined! Tons of space, very luxurious...and the SofTub on our deck was awesome! The view of the mountains was amazing and the hosts we very kind and helpful but also gave us space. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this beautiful getaway to anyone!

Chilhowee Mountain Retreat is a perfect getaway, removed from the bustling traffic and noise, perfectly situated on top of the Chilhowee Mountain range west of Townsend (~45 min by car). It is a bit of an adventure just to find the retreat, meandering over twists and turns of mountain roads - delightful all by itself. The high elevation rewards visitors...

Weather was perfect, Jim and Mary are the most accommodating hosts! The property is beautiful, views are breathtaking, and we were in the mountain view room-amazing back porch. Well furnished room, all the details were taken care of. They had soda and water in the fridge, snacks on the sideboard, and lots of information for the rest of our trip!...

From Bar Harbor to Key West to San Diego to Seattle, Chilhowee Mountain Retreat is our most favorite place to stay. Mary and Jim are fabulous hosts and provide fantastic breakfasts. We have stayed in all three rooms. The Forest View is our favorite. It has its own hot tub. The beds in all three rooms are very comfortable and...

Comfortable accommodations, loved the soak tub, breakfast was delicious, quiet and beautiful views. The drive up is steep but its not so bad and a little adventurous. Innkeepers are delightful hosts. They are only a 20 minute drive to trail heads nearby. We hiked the Abrams Creek Falls 10.2 miles round trip trail and we did not see another human...

Very nice mountain B & B with excellent long range views. 3 guest rooms, two in the main lodge and one over the garage. Innkeepers very friendly and good story tellers, gave us good advise on restaurants and what to look at during the day.

Stayed at this lovely B&B. I recommend this retreat for all to see. Secluded site with incredible views, over the top breakfast and incredible hosts. Clean beyond clean. Lovely lovely destination. I could go on and on. By far the best B&B I've ever visited. Hosts gave us excellent ideas of where to go and what to do.

We stayed in the carriage house. The room and the lodge are all beautiful pine with huge ceilings, and lot's of windows overlooking the rolling mountains and trees. It is quite the drive up and around mountain curves to get there, our GPS said it was 2 miles and would take 20 minutes to get there - but oh, so...

Lovely luxury accommodations, fun for an escape, with a full, scrumptious breakfast. 3 things to know. 1 - to get to the top of the hill for the awesome few you'll follow a very long over-the-river-&-thru-the-woods path (paved). 2 - coffee available only from 7:30 and breakfast at 9am (only). So if you're in town for a few days and...
