A quiet retreat with a lovely host and hostess. The room was comfortable, spotless with all amenities. The food was excellent with home made bread etc. We felt very welcome and were impressed by all the attention to detail and personal touches. The location was in the countryside so a little off the main road but peaceful and relaxing.

To summarise: Fantastic hosts, Fantastic Food and Fantastic Scenery. What more could you ask for? Both Cordelia and Howard went to the extremes to ensure that our visit to their B&B was as warming and relaxing as possible - every need was more than satisfied. After staying at numerous B&B's/Hotels over the years, this was by far the most relaxed...

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was a sumptuous feast, and the price very reasonable. This is in a very quiet, rural location requiring transport to get to local shops or places to eat, but the breakfast is so large one can live on that alone!

I cannot convey too strongly how impressed my wife and I were with this wonderful guest house. We spent five glorious days there and wished it had been longer. The owners, Howard and Cordelia, are superb hosts and Howard went out of his way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. This is an old hunting lodge...
