We had a large room with a great view, the food and drink were really nice, as were the staff. Try the nachos starter, well worth it. Short walk to the town centre if you turn right when leaving the hotel and if you turn left a walk around the harbour and onwards to the beach, andif you are feeling...

We were allocated Room 20 - absolute mess. Of the 4 drawers 3 had the base falling out and the 4th had no base. Wardrobe was on its last legs. Décor in dire need of upgrade. No hairdryer (I was eventually given one from another room to borrow), shaving light did not work, tea/coffee etc sits on top of what...

Again the room was actually quite...

Beds clean and comfortable but rooms very badly need updated and showers re-grouted and cubicle cleaned properly as...

Staff did not engage and food was average pub food quality Our room was dominated by a large crack running down the wall.Fair enough the premises opened...

Stayed at anchorage hotel for two nights. Third time we've stayed there. Hotel needs bit of T.L.C. But rooms are massive.staff and food are excellent. Lovely lounge to have dinner in and bar is in the shape of the bow of a boat very unusual. Breakfast at the anchorage is lovely and you can help yourself to tea and coffee....

“A room at the front will have a lovely view of the sea but a bit of noise for a short time as the pub comes out.”
  • View from room with slight zoom to cut out cars in car park below. Lovely walks round the coast.
