Again the room was actually quite...

Stayed on 2 night break in march which included 2course meal and drink on first night. Good value, food good although toasters need updated for breakfast service and tongs provided for taking bread rather than everyone just using their hands to select. Beds clean and comfortable but rooms very badly need updated and showers re-grouted and cubicle cleaned properly as...

Staff did not engage and food was average pub food quality Our room was dominated by a large crack running down the wall.Fair enough the premises opened...

Stayed at anchorage hotel for two nights. Third time we've stayed there. Hotel needs bit of T.L.C. But rooms are massive.staff and food are excellent. Lovely lounge to have dinner in and bar is in the shape of the bow of a boat very unusual. Breakfast at the anchorage is lovely and you can help yourself to tea and coffee....

Took a drive down to Troon for Sunday lunch. Not knowing where to go we saw the Anchorage Hotel and decided to pop in and see what it was like. Staff were nice and welcoming. From the signs inside it dates back to 1812 and has a nice 'old world' feel inside. Menu was what you would expect for pub...

We booked a weekend deal here and was our first visit. Had a great weekend, food was awesome and for the price we paid would definitely go back. Great base camp for exploring Ayrshire, plenty to see and do. Friendly staff, chatty and helpful.
