Stayed for a few days at the Piersland recently. Reception were welcoming and helpful. Food was lovely, varied menus, good well cooked produce, thanks Chefs we enjoyed our meals. Breakfast order taken the night before and time slot booked for your table in the morning, worked like clockwork, it is a great way to run the breakfast service especially in the current climate. Room clean and comfortable had everything we required. A great relaxing trip, able to enjoy a drink on the terrace, the gardens which looked fantastic, well done to the gardeners great job. Jack served us on a number of occasions, lovely young man a credit to the hotel. Feedback was taken on board on one point that we had. Loved our time at the hotel and would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Me and my husband stayed here for a pre-babymoon and couldn't have asked for better. Gorgeous hotel. Lovely hotel and grounds. Staff were all so nice throughout our stay. Dinner was great, huge portions and good quality food! I ate off the 3 course menu, tempura chicken starter was lovely, the chicken with haggis and potatoes was incredible, perfectly cooked! The sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch and ice cream was the cherry on top to finish, though I couldn't finish it! My husband ate off the Al carte menu with £25 limit included in our stay. He had haggis starter which was lovely and the lamb rump for main which was cooked to his asking. The room was lovely. We had a superior double room which was worth that little bit extra. Large comfortable bed. Lovely views over the garden and golf course. Generously sized, the bathroom was spacious too. I had a bath to ease my pregnancy aches after a day by the beach and now my own bath seems inferior lol. The shower was great too, had two shower heads which was nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without a doubt.

Even with the added concerns around Covid, had a really pleasant stay yet again. As you arrive at the hotel you can tell by the well maintained grounds what kind of experience you will have. The room was immaculate and the service from all staff members was excellent (especially the newest member Charlotte who was on duty during breakfast service). We really enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner as food was warm and tasty - restaurant is busy for meals in the evening with many non- residents booking tables. Would highly recommend this hotel especially as a base for exploring the local area.
