This was my mother's first outing since March last year what a disappointment. I booked the table for 6 of us but we were shown to a table of 4 and we were left to push another table over with no help from staff. The food was excellent as usual but need to improve on service as it used to be.
Called and made a reservation and had a wonderful evening. Great location with amazing views. Attention to detail is there for all to see. The following members of staff deserve a special mention Jamie, Holly and Jordan. They are great ambassadors for the restaurant. A big shout too for the kitchen brigade. Will be back for sure.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Highgrove House Hotel. Extensive Menu. Excellent service. Beautiful location with stunning views of Arran and Ailsa Craig Disappointed that banana and sweet corn pancake has been removed from Cajun Chicken Dish 😔
This is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The views of the sea and Isle of Aran were perfect. The restaurant is outstanding with fresh fish and steaks cooked to perfection. A group of us had a few days here whilst working locally. What stood out was the service. Jamie Agnew really looked after us and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. We really appreciated his support amd suggestions. Would recommend and will be going back ❤️
I was staying at the Highgrove for a business trip, 5 hour drive to get there. Imagine my surprise when whilst trying to snooze, I was awoken by what I assumed was washing machines ( to be told it was the kitchen fan ). I was informed this would go off when the kitchen closed ( last orders for food 20:30 ). At 22:40 the fan was still going and was turned off at 23:10. The Kitchen staff arrive at 05:55 to start work and the noise started all over again. Jamie who I spoke to the next morning was by far the most proactive person in the establishment, room swapped, helpful and so can do attitude. The food excellent, vies second to none If you stay avoid ROOM 9
